After we arrived yesterday we went to the room I was sharing with Noluthado and as i was trying to sleep i heard Noluthado sniffing and i comforted her until she fall asleep. Today we woke up early and showered and we went downstairs to have breakfast after eating me and thando went for a walk and we found ourselves in the nearest river.

Me: how are you feeling.

Thando: it's hard zama i still can't believe that umah is gone, this thing feels like a dream.

Me:I miss her.

Thando:Zama I feel like am lost.

Me: just know that I am here for you.

Thando: But i will die soon.

Me: what do mean?

Thando: you remember when i fainted at school.

Me:yah.

Thando:I found out that I have lung cancer .

Me:WHAT!!!

Thando: sorry friend I was scared to tell you.

Me: Noluthado you and I have been friends for 8 years , does that mean anything to you Thando?

Thando:it means everything chomie I just didn't know how to tell you.

Me: Thando listen to me I love you okay but next time you hide something like this from me I going to end it this friendship okay.

Thando: OKAY MADAM!!

I just laughed but then I am scared to lose my best friend,she is my day one. Ohh sorry my name is Zama khoza Noluthado Is my best friend for grade 4 till now. Am the daughter of Buhle and Themba khoza i have an older brother his name is bongani. As we were laughing my phone rang and I was my mom I just answered .

Me:ohh hey mah.

Mama: don't hey mah me Zama why didn't you call and did you arrive safely.

Me: sorry mah I was tired and yes we arrived safely.

Mama: okay, how is thando.

Me: she is not good mah i had to comfort her last night.

Mama:ohh shame the poor child.

Me:mah ukuphi ubaba.

Mama:ahh you know him ubusy , when is the funeral.

Me: on Saturday.

Mama: okay we will come on Friday.

Me: okay mah I have to go now,byeee .

After speaking with mom we walked back home. When we got home they told me to peel some veggies and they told thando to make tea for the elders.
