Chapter Six

Mike knew the man who was feeding McGrath information about where they were and where they were going. Lockwood. Rita's new boyfriend. Mike always knew there was something shady about him. But before they called Rita to tell her, they went back to Mike's house to pick up Lucius. "Goddamn kid, you were a beast, last night!" Dorn praised. Suddenly, Lucius ran up to Armando and hugged him tight. "¿Ángel? ¿Qué pasa?" Armando asked, hesitantly hugging him back. "Necesito hablar contigo." he mumbled, his face buried in his dad's chest. Everyone gave him concerned looks before Armando nodded and led him to his room. Mike, Marcus, Kelly, and Dorn agreed to call Rita and warn her about Lockwood while he did so.

Lucius' panic was eating him from the inside. If he waited any longer it would kill him, but at the same time, telling Armando what happened to him would do the same. Armando and Lucius sat down at his window seat in his bedroom. Lucius took a deep breath, not knowing how his father was going to react. "Remember when I took that drive?" Armando nodded. "Me detuve para revisar mi teléfono porque vibró y recibí este mensaje de texto de este número aleatorio." Armando nodded again, trying to follow. "decía, it's nice to meet you, Ángel." Lucius took another breath. "I turned around and there was this man. And I-I knew him from-"

"The cartels a while ago." Armando finished. "Sí," Lucius continued. "Then he pulled out his gun and I reached for mine, but I left it at home for the first time in my life." Lucius scratched the back of his neck nervously. "Then he dragged me to this building...Solo estábamos nosotros y unos cuantos pistoleros allí." Ángel started to shake until Armando put a hand on his shoulder. "It's okay," he said. "Tell me."

"He was rambling about how he wanted to get rid of the evils of the world, and I- I could barely understand him his English was too...strange," he said. "So I stayed quiet. Then he put the gun to my head and said 'I'll kill you if you tell your father about this. I thought he was going to kill me but...but he grabbed me by the back of the head and shoved me into this room and-" Lucius didn't need to finish for Armando to have an idea of what happened to him. And it shook him to the core. His son had been raped. And he couldn't do anything to prevent it. "Lo siento, papá," Lucius said, tears in his eyes. Armando couldn't do anything but quickly pulled his son in for a hug, who immediately started to sob. Armando couldn't even care about the tear stains Lucius had left on his shirt. "¡todo esto es mi culpa!" Armando pulled him back and laid both hands on his shoulders. "No, no, no, no. None of this is your fault, mijo. Don't you ever say some stupid shit like that again. ¿Entiendes?" Lucius nodded before he hugged him again. "I tried to-" Armando looked at his son, terrified about what he was about to say. "I- I thought that it would fix everything. Lo siento mucho." he sobbed. "It's okay." Armando tried to stay strong, but seeing his son in such pain made a few stray tears of sadness and pure rage fall down his cheeks.

Meanwhile, Mike, Marcus, Kelly, and Dorn had gotten Rita on their side and captured Lockwood. They used AI-generated recordings of Lockwood's voice to trick McGrath into meeting up. "We're the only ones that can trust each other right now." Mike reminded them as Armando and Lucius joined them. "You okay?" Kelly asked Lucius who nodded in return. "Leave McGrath for me." Armando demanded. After hearing what McGrath had done to him, Armando had every plan to kill McGrath in the worst way possible. After seeing the look on Armando's face, no one questioned him. "There's an abandoned alligator park in southern Florida that he agreed to meet in," Dorn explained, pulling up the coordinates. "One small problem. The alleged mascot, the albino alligator, named Duke is still there."

"Why not just shoot him?" everybody looked at him, but for the reason he'd assume. "What?"

"You speak English?" Dorn asked. "Yeah, man." everybody turned back around. "Try to prevent as much gunfire as possible, Armando. Remember Callie's with him." Armando nodded. The group thought up a plan to bring Lockwood on a plane while they hid around parts of the park. Lucius' job was to stay close to Kelly while Armando found McGrath. When Lockwood got out of the plane, things didn't go as planned. One of McGrath's goons spotted Armando under the bridge, Armando quickly shot him and sent him off the bridge and into the water where he got mauled and eaten by the alligator. "Oh shit!" Armando whispered as gunfire broke out. Taking his chance, Lockwood grabbed a stray gun and shot Dorn in the arm. "Shit! Dorn!" Kelly exclaimed. When Lockwood pointed his gun at her, she kicked him and sent him off the bridge and into the water where he too got eaten by the gator. McGrath left with Callie still at his side. "Armando! We got movement!" Kelly yelled into her earpiece. Armando wasted no time and chased after McGrath while Mike and Marcus went to go find wherever he would throw Callie. Mike and Marcus hid behind a table for protection as they were shot at. That was when Mike started to panic. Judy was obviously on her way and she would no longer be showing any mercy. Suddenly, Marcus smacked him across the face. "Cut that shit out man!" he screamed. Mike snapped out of his trance and put his hand out to signal he got the point. "You're a bad boy!" but Marcus kept going. "I got it, man, I got it."

"You're the big bad wolf in the neighborhood! Not bad meaning bad but-"

"Bad meaning good!" Mike and Marcus then shot their way through the park killing mounds of henchmen and blowing up nearby ships. Soon, they got a notice from their earpieces. "I found Callie!" Kelly said. Mike and Marcus tsked. All of that encouragement and carnage was for nothing. Armando followed McGrath to a nearby beach with Mike and Marcus soon catching up with him. McGrath pointed his gun at Armando, knowing these were coming to an end. Armando charged at McGrath and forced the gun out of his hand before slamming him to the ground and started pounding his face into the sand. Mike and Marcus stared as Lucius and Kelly caught up with them and froze. "Holy shit." Kelly breathed. Lucius tried his best not to smile. He knew he had an amazing father. Armando continued to beat McGrath, his blood staining the sand, and Armando's hands until he stopped right before he could die. McGrath lay there bloody and barely breathing with presumably tons of brain damage while Armando stood up, grabbed McGrath's gun, and shot him once in the chest, once in the pelvis, and twice in the head. Knowing he would keep going even after McGrath was dead, Mike pulled Armando away from his corpse and made him drop the gun. "Fucking rapist." he said to McGrath's dead body before walking away.

When Judy and her cops arrived at the scene, she wasn't happy to see all the bloodshed but was happy to see Callie safe so she got rid of the statements of Armando violating his parole and officially made him a free man.
