The Grand Affair
The day of the wedding dawned bright and clear, the perfect backdrop for what was to be the grandest event of the year. The venue was a luxurious estate on the outskirts of Seoul, adorned with thousands of white roses and glittering chandeliers. The elite of the city gathered, eager to witness the union of two powerful figures.
Y/n stood in her dressing room, staring at her reflection in the mirror. The gown was breathtaking—a custom-made piece that hugged her curves and flared out into a dramatic train. Yet, despite the beauty surrounding her, she felt a gnawing sense of unease.
Jennie, her maid of honor, entered the room, her eyes widening at the sight of Y/n. "You look stunning, Y/n," she said, adjusting the veil.
"Thanks, Jennie," Y/n replied, forcing a smile. "I just hope I'm making the right decision."
Jennie squeezed her hand. "Just remember, I’m here for you. No matter what happens."
Taking a deep breath, Y/n nodded. "Let’s do this."
The ceremony was nothing short of a fairy tale. Hoseok stood at the altar, looking dashing in his tailored suit, his eyes never leaving Y/n as she walked down the aisle. The look of triumph in his gaze made her heart flutter with a mix of excitement and apprehension.
As they exchanged vows, Y/n couldn't shake the feeling that she was stepping into something far more complex than she had anticipated. Hoseok’s grip on her hands was firm, his words filled with a possessive intensity that both thrilled and frightened her.
"I, Hoseok, take you, Y/n, to be my lawfully wedded wife," he vowed, his voice resonating through the grand hall. "To have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, until death do us part."
Y/n swallowed hard, her voice trembling slightly as she repeated her vows. "I, Y/n, take you, Hoseok, to be my lawfully wedded husband. To have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, until death do us part."
The moment the officiant declared them husband and wife, Hoseok pulled her into a deep, passionate kiss that left her breathless and the audience applauding. As they walked back down the aisle together, hand in hand, Y/n couldn't help but feel like she had stepped into a new world—one filled with both promise and peril.
The reception was an opulent affair, with tables laden with gourmet food and champagne flowing freely. Y/n and Hoseok mingled with the guests, receiving congratulations and well-wishes from all sides. Yet, beneath the surface, tensions simmered.
"Congratulations, Hoseok," one of his business associates said, clapping him on the back. "You’ve truly outdone yourself."
"Thank you," Hoseok replied, his grip on Y/n’s waist tightening possessively. "Y/n and I are thrilled to start this new chapter together."
Y/n smiled politely, but her mind was elsewhere. She could feel the weight of Hoseok’s control, the way he kept her close, as if afraid she might slip away. As the night wore on, the unease in her chest grew stronger.
After the reception, Hoseok whisked Y/n away to a private villa, the anticipation of their wedding night hanging heavily in the air. The villa was exquisite, with a grand bedroom filled with flickering candlelight and the scent of roses.
Hoseok turned to Y/n, his eyes dark with desire. "Finally, you’re all mine," he murmured, stepping closer.
Y/n’s heart raced as he pulled her into a heated kiss, his hands roaming over her body with possessive fervor. "Hoseok," she whispered, her voice trembling with a mix of fear and excitement.
