The growing darkness

Hoseok sat in his dimly lit study, the flickering light from his desk lamp casting eerie shadows on the walls. The room was filled with various artifacts and expensive pieces of art, but the most prominent feature was the collection he had meticulously built over the past few weeks.

Magazines with your face on the cover were neatly stacked on his desk, alongside printed interviews and candid photographs. He had spent countless hours learning everything he could about you—your daily routines, favorite coffee shops, the gym you frequented, even the names of your closest friends.

He reached for a framed photo of you, one taken at the charity gala where they had first met. Your smile was radiant, your eyes sparkling with life. Hoseok's fingers traced the outline of your face, his eyes filled with an intense longing.

"You belong to me," he whispered, his voice barely audible in the silence of the room. "If I can't have you, darling no one else can,"

His fascination had grown into an all-consuming obsession, one he could no longer control. He needed to be close to you, to possess you in ways he couldn't fully understand. It was as if you had become the center of his universe, and nothing else mattered.

Your life continued as usual, blissfully unaware of the dark turn Hoseok's feelings had taken. You went about your daily routines, meeting friends, attending shoots, and enjoying the occasional quiet evening at home. But Hoseok was always watching, always lurking in the shadows.

One sunny afternoon, I decided to visit my favorite café, the same one where you had first met Hoseok. I ordered my usual coffee and sat by the window, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. Little did you know, Hoseok was seated a few tables away, hidden behind a newspaper, his eyes never leaving you.

As you sipped your coffee, you received a text from your friend, Lisa.

**Lisa:** *Hey, are you free for dinner tonight? I’ve got some exciting news to share!*

**Y/n:** *Sure, that sounds great! Where should we meet?*

**Lisa:** *How about that new Italian place on 5th Avenue? 7 PM?*

**Y/n:** *Perfect! See you then!*

Hoseok watched as you typed on your phone, a satisfied smile curling his lips. He knew your plans, your whereabouts, and soon, he would make his move. But for now, he was content to observe, to let his obsession grow.

That evening, You met Lisa for dinner at the cozy Italian restaurant. You chatted animatedly, catching up on each other’s lives and sharing laughter over delicious pasta and wine.

"So, what’s the big news?" You asked, her curiosity piqued.

Lisa grinned, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "I got a promotion! I’m the new creative director at the agency!"

Y/n gasped, genuinely thrilled for her friend. "Lisa, that’s amazing! Congratulations!"

"Thanks! I couldn’t have done it without your support," Lisa said, raising her glass. "To new beginnings!"

"To new beginnings!" Y/n echoed, clinking her glass against Lisa’s.

As they continued to celebrate, Y/n felt a sudden chill run down her spine. She glanced around the restaurant, half-expecting to see someone familiar, but there was no one. Just a strange sense of being watched.

"Is everything okay?" Lisa asked, noticing Y/n’s discomfort.

"Yeah, I’m fine," Y/n said, shaking off the feeling. "Just a weird vibe, I guess."
