Osamu Dazai was waiting all night for the next day. Knowing that his mom wouldn't let him out at night. He wanted to check the mailbox but had to wait. Hours and hours of waiting for morning just for it to hit at least 3:00PM. And it did and when it did he rushed out of his bed with shoes already on. Very excited to see if he got a reply to his reply. He ran outside and into his front yard, opening the mailbox and seeing a white envelope saying
"To Osamu Dazai my new.... Friend?"
Dazai squealed in excitement as he quickly covered his mouth. Not expecting to make such sounds. Then he ran to his room and quickly grabbed his reading glasses. And opening the letter carefully so he could keep it. He then began reading the letter.
"To Osamu Dazai. Yes the name Akutagawa is my friends name...? And my eye color is uhm.. Brown and blue. Yknow.. One brown one blue? Ehhhh anyways about the kissing position ngl that would work but aku doesn't know I know he likes the boy. Is your friends name Atsushi? Hm. And no way your almost a foot taller then me! And being ginger isn't bad. You're a trouble maker! Blue is a basic favorite color though its pretty. Brown hair and eyes I bet your hair is so tangled. Wdym June is 'like' 2 months after April it IS 2 months after April.. And I'm older then you hah. Anyways this is shorter then my last letter but here's my question. What's your favorite singer? Mines probably Artic Monkeys. I have 3 more questions do you know them and if you do do you like them?"
Dazai got excited he guessed the name right, his question was answered.. And Chuuya new his friends name! He also didn't listen to music much besides things like 'Rain' and 'Twilight' by Bôa, she was probably his favorite singer. After reading the letter he then opened a drawer with paper. He then grabbed his blue pen. That's his favorite pen.. He then started writing down words
"To Chuuya Nakaharaaa!!! Correct my friend is Atsushi omfg I wanna get them together so bad. AND BLUE AND BROWN OMFGG THAT'S PROBS SO PRETTYᰔ Why do I write hearts like that. Why am I writing a heart in the first place I don't know. Don't ask me. And Artic Monkeys.. I've heard of them at school but never listened to them.. My favorite is probably Bôa. Ginger is honestly pretty.. No homo but you're probably hot. Why tf did I write that.. Anyways pipsqueak! I am a trouble maker and I enjoy it. R u some nerd? This is also shorter then my last letter cause we have less to say DUMBASS! Anyways what's your moms name my mom's name is (idfk)"
'Wtf' is what Dazai thought. Why the heart..? Why saying he'd probably be hot. WHY ASK HIS MOMS NAME??!! God Dazai thought about those things but never found a reason. He just sighed and put the letter in an envelope and got up. Going to that one house.. And setting it on the front porch. Knocking and running. And when Chuuya got that letter he'd see...
"To Chuuya Nakaharaa I'd gladly be your friend."
