Hunter and Althea sat on the floor of the Imperial shuttle, their hands cuffed in binders. The elite squad stood guard, watching them in case they tried to escape. To where? They were in hyperspace.
Althea held back from making any jokes. The storm inside her was too dense to even entertain the idea of humor.
The doors in front of the slid open, making way for Crosshair as he walked in.
"Where are we going?" Hunter asked.
Crosshair knelt down, grabbing something from the tracker's belt. Althea glared daggers at him as he activated the comm device.
"You'll find out soon enough." The sniper said as he stood. "And so will your squad."
Althea scoffed. So that was it? He had completely broken off from them. While they were all hoping there was a chance he would come home, Crosshair had been spending his time forgetting them. Harsh words rose on the medic's tongue, but she kept her mouth shut.
"Using my comm won't work." Hunter told his estranged brother. "They'll know it's a trap."
"They'll still come for you." Crosshair walked away.
Althea hated that he was right. They were all loyal to each other, Omega especially. The medic heaved a sigh and leaned her head back against the wall.
Hunter must have noticed her actions. He looked at her, his eyes flashing grey in the dim light. "We'll find a way, kiddo. We always do."
Althea looked at him, her eyes dull. "And then what?"
Hunter didn't answer. He was at a loss for words. They were a squad, they always found a way. A way to prove themselves worthy amongst the regs, a way to provide when the Republic fell. But now, it felt as if the galaxy was working against them.

"Spanner wrench." Echo requested, holding the tool he had currently to be switch. He was repairing the hull of the Marauder, Omega helping him.
The girl grunted in frustration. "This is taking too long." she said.
Echo turned to her. "Omega, focus."
"I can't." Her voice was frantic, she felt a burning sensation her her stomach and her palms were sweaty. "We have to get back to Daro and rescue Hunter and Thea."
"We will," Echo said calmly. "But we can't go anywhere until the ship's fixed. Hand me the spanner." He held out his hand.
Omega took his tool and replaced it with the spanner, reaching up to the tool box rested on Gonky.
The ARC took the tool and leaned back in the ship. Omega bounced foot to foot, unable to control her nervous energy.
Echo came back out with a light grunt, wiping his brow. "That should do it."
The duo took Gonky and went inside the ship where Tech was sitting under the controls.
"The hull's patched." Echo announced.
"Nearly finished getting the systems online." Tech told them.
Wrecker came inside. "I left Gregor with Cid. She wasn't too happy." he added with a chuckle.
"What else is new?" Echo asked.
Tech stood as the controls whirred to life, all the buttons and switches blinking, eager to be used. "We are up and running."
