A week later:

Aizawa's POV:

'Shit! Shit! Shit!' I kept thinking as I held a child close to me, running as fast as I could. They were gravely injured, especially their left leg. 'What were they thinking? They are just a child! It's not their fault what their father was!' I thought angrily as I kept running towards the forest.

'Wait! How will the kids react to them? No time to think about that, just need to believe they will help them,' I thought, getting closer to the forest, keeping the child close to me. I soon got to the forest but didn't slow down. I let out a loud whistle, letting them know I was here, but I still kept running.

"Mr. Eraserhead! What's the rush?" I looked just enough to see that it was Tamao, one of the hunters.

"I've got an injured child!" I said with urgency as we kept running. I could now hear the others around us as we ran to The Valley.

"How injured?" she asked, looking at the child in my arms.

"Injured leg and bleeding from multiple wounds," I said as we got to The Valley. "Shio! Where is Vivi!?" I yelled to Shio as soon as I saw him, just now starting to slow down.

"She is in her hut. What happened?" he asked, leading me to her hut.

"The commission wanted to kill this child. They hurt her before I got the chance to take her and run. Can you patch her up?"

"We can," he said before he opened Vivi's door. "Vivi! We have an injured child!" he called out to her.

"Oh no! Bring them to me, now!" she said with alarm, and I set the child on the table.

"Information on the child?" she asked me as she started working. Another child, Lumai, was ready to take notes as Vivi would be too busy.

"Female, name is Eri. She is quirked but was hurt because her quirk is rewind and because of what her father is. She is six years old," I explained.

"A quirked child? What is her quirk?" Vivi asked.

"Rewind. She can rewind living things to their previous state," I told her.

"That can be quite a dangerous quirk, Eraserhead," Shio said, looking at me.

"I am aware. That is why I am here. If she starts to lose control, I can turn her quirk off," I said to him as Lumai wrote down everything I was saying.

"At least we have that. So why is she so injured in the first place?" Shio asked as Vivi mainly focused on her work and directed Lumai on what to write.

"She is the daughter of a villain, and she was supposed to go to a hospital for some of these injuries, but they wanted to kill her based on what her father was," I explained.

"This is getting more dangerous. Tell us, Eraserhead, what the bad ones appear to be planning regarding us—if they have found out about us yet, that is?" Shio asked, not looking at me but instead at Eri.

"I have not heard of any plans regarding anyone here in The Valley, but Nezu is keeping an eye on it and will inform us of anything before it happens. But if he can't, we just hope you can keep safe until Zashi and I get here," I said to him, now also looking at Eri, who was asleep as Vivi finished patching her up.

Eri was still very much injured and at high risk of bleeding out. I stayed by the wall to give them space to work as I answered any questions I could. I didn't want her to get any more hurt than she already was. I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket and looked down to see what notification I had gotten. It was just a text from Zashi.

Bird: Shou! Where are you?

Cat: With the kids.

Bird: Wait there. I am on my way to you now.

Cat: I'm not going anywhere. See you soon, Zashi.

Bird: See you soon, Shou!

I put my phone away and continued talking with Shio as Vivi kept an eye on Eri. Lumai found himself a seat to sit on until he was called again, his black hair tied in a low ponytail to keep it out of his face.

Hizashi's POV:

I was rushing to The Valley, where Shou had said he was. I made sure to go on foot to avoid leaving evidence of where I was going. I walked as fast as I could in my civilian outfit to blend in without being noticed. After all, it would be dangerous if the kids were found out by anyone—especially the commission.

I made my way through the forest, careful to avoid the bugs. I let out a low yet projected whistle—making sure not to use my quirk here—to let them know I was there. I slowed down only to ensure I didn't faceplant on my way there, as that would just slow me down more.

I heard some rustling, so I knew they had heard me, but I didn't slow down until I got there. I didn't see Shou, but I did see Izuku. He was with Ren, Akumu, Yima, and Yama. They were the closest to me, so I walked up to them.

"Hey, little listeners! Do you know where Mr. Eraserhead is? I can't find him," I asked, making sure to use the name they called him. The kids shook their heads, but Izuku nodded. 'I figured you did, Izuku, you little cryptid,' I thought as I smiled, knowing he knew.

"Yeah, he, Papa, and Mimi went to Vivi's hut. Someone was hurt and needed to see her," Izuku said to me.

"Can you show me where that is, please?" I asked him. He nodded and led me to a hut, pointing at the door.

"This is it, Mr. Mic," he said, smiling at me.

"Thanks, little listener!" I said, watching him go back to the others before I went into the hut.

No one's POV:

As Hizashi went in, he saw Shio and Shouta talking. He also saw Vivi and Lumai by the resting body of Eri, who Vivi was keeping a close eye on. Some time passed when Vivi let out a sound of alarm and yelled, "Adults out! I need to get to work!" as Eri started to bleed more out of nowhere. Shouta and Hizashi were pushed out of the hut per Vivi's orders. What they didn't know was that someone had heard what happened and was rushing to the hut. When he got there, he saw his old friends in front of it. He decided to sneak around them and went in. He knew that the kids in The Valley would no longer trust him, but he needed to make sure this child lived and would deal with the aftermath after ensuring the child's survival.

He ignored the sounds of shock from the other three in the hut and started using his quirk to heal the child on the bed. It was quick, and as soon as he was done, he was yelled at and pushed out of the hut by all three of them.

The two heroes heard the noise behind them, and when they saw him, they froze. Shouta was the first to speak, "What, is that you—" (tbc)
