I finally collected myself off the floor, covering Autumn with the blanket. I took the ring off her finger, just so I would have something to remember her by.. She loved it.. Once they bring her hone for a burial, I'll put it in her coffin.. I want to know that she has it with her forever..
I walked out of the shack, limply walking up to the top of the mountain.. What did I have anymore? Anything?? I was soon knocked out of my thoughts by what sounded like.. Chanting? .. What was going on up there? I quietly made my way up to the top, finally seeing the radio tower.. Would I actually be able to climb it? Would I even have the strength? Here's hoping..
"C'mon, Marston. We're almost there." I said, dragging myself up the stairs as the chanting got louder and louder. Okay, this was getting creepy. Who sits in a radio tower and chants? I couldn't even tell what the crazy person was even saying! This was just crazy.. Like, really. Was someone living up here?
Maybe they were friendly and just nuts? I'd really like for that to be the case..
I peeked over the side of the wall, looking in the tower window, just to see- .. "Delilah..?" I muttered.. What was this? What was going on here!? Well, if anyone would know, it'd be her. So, there was only one thing left to do. I opened the door and stood there "Delilah?" I called as she quickly turned around.
"James! You made it!" she said as I raised an eyebrow "What's going on here?" I asked, still covered in blood from all the crap I had endured.. The crash.. Broken glass.. Thickets.. I looked like I had lost a fight with a cat! "Come in! Come in!" she said with a big smile, standing on the other side of the room. "Delilah.. Is that..?" I asked, looking around as my eyes made contact with something..
A necklace..
.. Just like the one Elisa was wearing..
I had just found Emily..
"She didn't work! But, you! You will work perfectly!" she said as I got even more confused than before. "For?" I asked as she giggled, her eyes growing feral "I need a human sacrifice! This girl wasn't beautiful enough for Ahkiko! The goddess in white! She spoke to me.. Said that if I gave her a pleasing sacrifice, she would make me a goddess!" She explained as my eyes widened "Delilah.. You're crazy.." I said, seeing the blood on her hands "Nonsense, James.. I'm not crazy.. I'm loyal to my cause!" she yelled before charging at me.
I ran out the door and headed around the tower, just to have her meet me head on.. She got a deep cut on my side as I moved, letting her fall over the side of the tower. I heard her screaming the whole way down before it stopped.. I looked down, seeing her body laying there.. It was finally over.. Thank goodness..
