The Kingdom of Topa has guarding the world from the demons beyond the their kingdom.

According to the legend, the demon lord and his army invade the world and cloud it with darkness. The Realm God sent his emissaries to save the world and destroy the darkness.

The emissaries and the world's armies held their arms together and fought the demon lord and his demonic army. Together, they are able to save the world, and the Realm God recalled his emissaries back.

With the demons pushed back to the barren and cursed continent of Gramerus, the Topan guardian guarded the world by constructing a wall known as "the Gate of the World." This gate later defended the world from any possible demonic attack.

Following the construction of the gate, brave warriors of the world army went to the cursed continent of Gramerus to exterminate the weakened demon lord once and for all. The extermination failed miserably, with the demon lord is able to regenerate his power quickly.

Four men, the world's heroes, sacrifice themselves to seal the demon lord and his army. While the rest of the army and the lone surviving hero returned to their land and told the tales of their journey on the cursed continent of Gramerus,.

To this day, since its foundation, Topa has become the world guardian, the shield of the world. However, the identity of Topa as the guardian of the world quickly lost its meaning as the world developed. Topa are no longer the guardians; they're just a country, holding centuries of tradition and holding still to their heritage.

Topa are no longer the world's guardian. Among the superpowers, Topa are nothing compare to them.

Kingdom of Topa
The Gate of the World

Due to Topa being located in the north, winter storms are frequent. Especially at the World Gate.

It is Eldoravios, and winter is still ongoing. So, snow becomes much thicker, and snowfall becomes more common around this time.

"Damn the storm!"

On top of a wall tower, mercenary swordsman Gai, a halfling of an elf and a human, has his hand with a shovel, digging through the thick layer of snow on top of the turret.

"I began to regret this." Gai said.

"It is your fault. You accepted the offer too fast." Commented an elven knight, Moah, Gai's childhood friend.

"What? I'm a mercenary. I seek money through fight. And this is not what I wanted." Gai replied.

"Standing around, guarding around, sleep around, freezing to death.. I hate this.." Gai sighed.

"Your fault, not me." Moah responded. "Now, continue digging."

The two continue to dig through the snow and have almost all the snow thrown out of the turret.

"How do you not tired with all of these snows?" Gai asked his childhood friend.

"I have been stationed in here for quite a good time, three years probably. Same for the rest too." Moah answered.

"Damn..."

Gai then put his shovel like a stick and hung his head around his arm on top of the shovel. He sighed and just stare at the valley beyond the World Isthmus.

Suddenly, a strong gush of cold wind struck his face. Gai broke off from his position and shook his head, as a speck of snow just went to his eyes.

"Agh! My eyes!" Gai cried as he rub his eyes.
