Travis looks at his phone and thinks that there is no possible way Taylor Swift was texting him.
"Ha ha Jason, very funny." he texts back, thinking it would be his older brother messing with him since he's the one Travis told about Taylor and the bracelet.
"Definitely not Jason, unless you just try to hand out bracelets to anyone and i'm not special? :("
There's no way, Travis says.
"There is no way this is actually Taylor Swift, like no way."

Travis hold his finger over the open button but is hesitant. What if it is someone he knows and now they're gonna be able to tease him for even slightly thinking that the Taylor Swift would message him. But also, what if it was the Taylor Swift.

Travis smiles even more and truly can't believe it. Taylor Swift, the same Taylor Swift he saw in concert, practically fell in love with and then tried to give a friendship bracelet of all things. Him! A pro football player made a friendship bracelet to try and get this magical woman's attention, is texting him.

I know I didn't think it was her but there's no way his brother or friends would take photos of her cats from the internet just to tease him..
" I'm just kidding Travis, i hope i didn't scare you away"

He laughs again
