"Really dad?? Well thanks. Isn't it too early for birthday gifts?? I mean, you always have our gifts on our birthday. Well, I won't bother asking. Anyways I'll have the Max Out coming with me and Amanda and her best friend Carla. Is it okay??", I said.

"Well, sure son. Hope you enjoy there. You'll have two weeks vacation and I already talked to your principal and teacher about that and they said okay. They said that you and your group can catch up with the lessons. Maybe I'll follow you to your trips on the fourth day I guess. First you'll be on Paris, then Hawaii and lastly, in Philippines. I'll have a few guards and a chaperone for each everyone.", dad replied.

"Well okay dad. I'll see you then. Love you dad. You're the best dad ever. Even though mom's not here anymore you still make us happy. Bye dad. Let's meet at Hawaii again then?", I asked.

"Sure thing son. Thanks for the compliment. I love you and Amanda. Giving you things like this and moral advice is the least I can do for your mother. Be a good boy my son. Respect the ladies huh? Or else I'll kick your ass if you ever mistreat any young lady. Now, what is the score between you and Sammy? ", dad asked.

"Dad!! You do know what happened before, right? I can't give her anymore heartbreaks or traumas. I swear if she remembers, I wouldn't pull myself together if she feels the pain again. I could not let her remember anything. If that bastard ever touch or hurt Sammy, I'll rip his head off. FOR PETE'S SAKE !!!", I replied. Dad just sometimes can't hold his mouth really.

"Okay. Calm down son. Sorry if I have a big mouth. But, I have to say something son. About your shift, you are special son. You are a protector. You will know everything about it when you shift and the moonlight hits you on your birthday. You shall have a blue lightning marked on your chest in wolf form as a symbol that you represent the wolf race as the destined queen's protector.", dad said firmly and seriously.

"Bu-, ho-, why dad?? I can't understand. Why does it have to me? I mean, there are way more deserving and powerful, like the royals ! Aren't they suppose to be representing the wolf race?", I asked and confusion builds up and takes over me.

"Listen son, I have something to tell you. Well, I should have said it years ago. Please don't be shocked but, we are royals", emphasis on the royal. Wait .. What ??!!! How come !!!
