Third person POV

The sky above the Nightmare Realm was a swirl of bright colors, a startling contrast to the darkness one would expect from such a place. The stars shone like diamonds set in black velvet, and the full moon was a beacon of the celebrations that were about to begin. In the royal palace, the lights were on and music echoed through the halls. Servants and nobles hurried to prepare the final stage of the coronation of Prince Jiung, the new King of Nightmares. The throne room was adorned with drapes of dark red and gold velvet, and the throne itself was a masterpiece of iron and fire, with dancing flames that seemed to support the seat without ever consuming it. Jiung stood before the mirror, his reflection showing a young man with slightly wavy orange hair and eyes that seemed to swallow the light. He wore a cloak of raven feathers, which blended with his dark armor. The crown on his head was made of thorns, each spike reflecting his determination. "It is time," a soft voice said from behind him. Jiung turned to see his advisor, Y/N, a figure draped in a gray cloak, her face hidden in the shadows of her hood. "Yes, the time has come to take what is mine by birthright," Jiung replied, his voice void of emotion. As they walked toward the throne room, Y/N couldn't help but think back to past events. They had fought together, they had shared secrets in the darkness, and in those moments, Y/N had seen something in Jiung that no one else had: a heart that burned not only with ambition, but with passion. The ceremony began with the sound of trumpets and the beating of drums. Jiung advanced toward the throne, each step ringing with authority. The nobles bowed, and the shadows themselves seemed to retreat as he passed. "Today," the High Priest proclaimed, "we crown Jiung as the Nightmare King. May his reign be long and terrible." The crowd erupted in applause as Jiung sat on the throne. The flames danced higher, as if greeting their new ruler. After the ceremony, the banquet was a lavish affair. Food and drink were plentiful, and laughter filled the air. Y/N watched from afar, her heart heavy. They had always known that Jiung would be a great king, but at what cost? Keeho approached Y/N. "Are you okay?" he asked, concern evident in his eyes. Y/N nodded, but the words came out before they could stop them. "I always knew Jiung would be great, but I never realized how much I love him, until now." Keeho was silent, then placed a hand on Y/N's shoulder. "Maybe it's time to tell him," he suggested. Y/N looked over to Jiung, who was laughing and toasting with his guests. "Maybe," they replied, "but not tonight. Tonight, we celebrate our Nightmare King." And so, as the stars continued to shine above, the Nightmare Kingdom welcomed its new king, and two hearts confronted the truth of their feelings, hidden in the shadow of greatness. As the celebration roared around them, Y/N made her way through the crowd to Jiung, whose face was now illuminated by the torches dancing in the throne room. Jiung noticed Y/N's approach and a welcoming smile appeared on his face.

Jiung: "Y/N, you seem thoughtful on such a festive night. Share your thoughts with me."

Y/N: "My king, it is a night of celebration, but also of reflection. Seeing you on the throne makes me think of all the sacrifices made to get to this point."

Jiung: (with a hearty laugh) "Memories are precious, aren't they? They remind us of where we came from and what we've overcome."

Y/N: "Yes, my king. And sometimes, they teach us more about ourselves than we'd like to admit."

Jiung regarded Y/N with a piercing gaze. "You speak of secrets, Y/N? If there's something weighing on your heart, now is the time to speak of it."

Y/N: (firmly) "Jiung, ever since you were a prince, I have believed in your ability to lead. But there is something I have never said..."

Jiung: (interrupting gently) "Y/N, you do not need words. Your loyalty and courage have spoken for you every moment."

A heavy silence settled between them, a silence filled with unspoken truths and unspoken understanding. Y/N lowered her gaze, but Jiung raised his face respectfully.

Jiung: "No matter what happens, Y/N, your place will always be at my side. You are more than an advisor; you are my most trusted ally and friend."

Y/N: (in a clear voice) "Jiung, my future is here, in this kingdom, and my support is for you, as a king and as a friend."

Jiung took Y/N's hand and held it in his in a sign of brotherhood. "Then let us celebrate not only my ascension, but also the friendship that binds us."

With those words, the Nightmare King and his advisor shared a moment of silent understanding, as the party continued around them, unaware of the solid alliance that had just strengthened in their hearts. The evening unfolded beneath a starry sky, with the Nightmare Kingdom celebrating its new ruler. As the festivities continued, Theo, the King of Dreams, approached Jiung with a glass of wine in his hand. Despite their recent friendship, there was a mutual respect shining in their eyes.

Theo: "Jiung, it is an honor to be here for your coronation. Your kingdom and mine have always had... differences, but I hope we can find common ground."

Jiung: (nodding) "Theo, your support means a lot, especially in these times of change. Nightmares and Dreams are two sides of the same coin, and perhaps it is time we worked together towards balance."

Theo: "I agree. My dreamers need rest, just as your nightmares need freedom. How do you plan to handle this... partnership?"

Jiung: "I think we should start small. Perhaps a pact that ensures the safety of our kingdoms and the well-being of our people."

Theo: (raising his glass) "Then, to our future. May it be as bright as your fires and as serene as my skies."

Jiung: (toasting with Theo) "To our future, Theo. May our kingdoms prosper together."

With that toast, the two rulers sealed an understanding not only between themselves but also between their kingdoms. The evening continued with a sense of renewed hope, as the festivities mingled with talk of alliances and budding friendships.

To be continued...
