Packing all my loved things and important things into one little bag has got to be the hardest thing to do, i wish i could bring the forest with me, th grass, the trees, the animals, the colours, but i must do this for my people, for the past day my mother has helped me use my bow a bit better, and to get the quick shots where u only need to give a glance, like what neytiri does.

As seylok, tsyalara, our mother and i put all our bags onto our ikran saddling up, tsyalara riding with my mother, we put our rugs and our bags on our ikran tightening the straps,

"Tarsem is wise for his years, he'll be perfect" I hear Jake say to my mother and neytiri, "let's hope this decision benefits the people" i hear my mother put it.

"Hey" i turn around looking over to see a boy i had seen a couple times, he was in our friend group but i never took much notice to him until now, "hi" i say looking over to him "i cant believe your going" he says rubbing his hand behind his head "yeah, you know gotta do what's best for our people" i say trying to keep the conversation short " where are you going" he asks jeez really stretching this convo on.

"We can't say, sorry Tayek, wish we could tell you but its confidential" as neteyams hands come around my shoulder i give a little smile over to the boy, before neteyam pulls me towards the ikran "that was rude" i say pinching neteyam "hey he was tryna get in my girls pants" he says shrugging "im not ur girl, not yet at least" as i whisper the last part looking down "what'd you say" he says lifting my head up "nothing" i reply jolting away "come on we are going to be late for the ceremony.

Seeing jake and tarsem stand next to each other and the veil taken off jakes head and placed over tarsem's shoulders, a tear slides out, just know processing that this is actually happening and it wasn't a dream, i'm leaving, were leaving the people, my people, as we chant in navi wishing the new Olo'eyktan a good reign.

As he pulls the knife up over jake, i look away, the leader must die, looking up i see the blade go down on his chest and leave a cut, as we all applaud, i look at neteyam, seeing a tear go down his face breaks my heart, but as long as we have each other i'm ok, as we stand at the top of the altar everybody says their goodbyes wishing us a great trip.

As I walk through the crowd of my people I let out a couple of sobs as I hold onto my mother who's trying to keep a brave face, but you can see it in her eyes.

"Are you ready, this will be a new chapter" my mother says to me and seylok rubbing our heads "stay close to me or to the sullys got it, no wondering off" she says glancing between the 2 of us, now come on hop on ur ikrans and lets go.

"Hey girl" i say making the bond with noosa, she was my favourite girl, nothing could take me away from her, looking around at all of us hoping on our ikrans, my mother and tsyalara on my mothers, tuk and neytiri on neytiri's one, jake on his, loak on his, neteyam on his, seylok on his and me with noosa, while looking around i catch neteyams eye, looking at me he's sad you can tell, i send him a smile, and put my fingers to my head and do the motion mouthing *i see you* He does the same and I smile to myself.

Hearing yips as we take off on our ikrans, and the people yelling back at us, i smile through sobs, jake makes a signal and we head that way yipping for our own kind as we look back at the forest one last glimpse of what life youse to look like, i turn back around to see everyone looking behind them,
