*omniscient pov*

Waking up to the smell of food being cooked in the kitchen Brooklyn woke up to see David gone, she got up and felt some discomfort between her legs but she ignored it as she knew what the consequences to her actions were.

She made her way straight to the bathroom to freshen up before she made her way out to the living room as she didn't want to approach David looking a hot mess, as she splashed her face with water her mind instantly gave her quick flashbacks to last night.

She let herself simmer in the flashback until she realised that she was getting turned on so she continued to splash her face with the water then moved onto the next step of her morning routine.

David couldn't even let himself sleep last night cause his mind was also being drowned in his own thoughts of how he felt about Brooklyn for him he felt as if this level of intimacy opened up another door in their relationship.

He physically felt himself being pulled towards Brooklyn it meant that he felt as he yearned to be in her skin, however he noticed this feeling during their trip where it was only them, David learnt things about Brooklyn and Brooklyn learnt things about him.

Their relationship was growing stronger and loved every bit of it, he simply can't get enough of Brooklyn and he hates how his manager always got something he needs David to do.

It's more of a love hate relationship yes he wants to make money but then again he also wants to see Brooklyn and he cannot do both as Brooklyn has her own life to live and goals to accomplish.

With Shai deciding to drop back made everything better for him cause now he doesn't have to worry about trying to help her build a relationship with Kairi that she obviously does not want; weight got lifted off his shoulders in a sense where he can only focus on what matters to him the most.

He did always wonder if Shai came back or if Kairi got older and wanted to know where her mother is, and was scared that it would affect her later on in life.

He also wondered if Brooklyn would take on that role not that he would force her to or anything like that considering that they haven't been together for that long.

He cannot say that he isn't curious to know, he'll never tell Brooklyn how she feels about it cause he doesn't want to make her feel obligated or uncomfortable about the whole situation. He's got his mom and it's going well for him.

It does pain him that he cannot be with his baby girl everyday of the week but he hopes that one day that this will be possible, he's a family man than anything else he wants to have a wife and a stable home where his baby girl doesn't need to go bouncing from household to household.

This was something he couldn't afford to let stress him out but it was a thought that played on his mind quite often, he does plan to work on it and see how he could make his lifestyle match Kairi's when it's time for her to start preschool, kindergarten etc.

He wants to be there through every single stepping stone hoping that Brooklyn will be by his side through all of it, feeling arms being wrapped around his torso he turned his head around and seen Brooklyn resting her head on his back.

"I got you cooking?"

"Some like that" he let out a chuckle and lifted her arms off his body so he could turn around and place a kiss on her lips, Brooklyn leaned into the kiss and felt her standing on her tip toes just to reach up to him.
