The Arrival of the Crimson Fleet Admiral
__
A hum of nervousness filled Marine Headquarters on the day of the arrival of the new second fleet admiral.
Usually a place of orderly discipline, the atmosphere suddenly simmered with nervous tension as word of the new Second Fleet Admiral's notoriety quickly spread across the ranks.
Whispers portrayed him as a coldly calculated man, motivated by ambition and a vicious thirst for power.
Admiral Aokiji, Admiral Akainu, and Admiral Kizaru sat guardedly in the grand meeting chamber, waiting for their new second fleet admiral to arrive.
Their expressions were a mix of curiosity and caution, fearful of the possible disturbances his presence could cause to their carefully kept hierarchy.
Aokiji leaned slightly on the polished table, his stern expression belying the sharp intellect behind, his eyes focused on the massive double doors that would shortly show the notorious Crimson Admiral.
Akainu remained motionless, his fiery rage barely restrained under a tough exterior of authority, his eyes darting suspiciously in anticipation of the approach of some possible threat.
Kizaru was relaxing close by, grinning languidly yet reflecting a deep understanding of the mystery that was going to surface in his eyes.
With a purposeful creak, the massive doors opened at the scheduled hour, revealing Cale Henituse.
Despite his seemingly calm and authoritative demeanor, he emanated a sense of deliberate threat that caused those who were gathered to become uneasy.
His striking red hair, pulled back with a harsh black ribbon, framed a face with sharp features and reddish-brown, piercing eyes that appeared to examine every person in the room with a clinical detachment.
Aokiji's voice broke the tense silence: "Second Fleet Admiral Cale Henituse," its coldness a sharp contrast to the stress in the room. "Welcome to Marine Headquarters."
In recognition, Cale bowed his head, his face cold and unapologetic.
"Thank you, Admiral Aokiji, Admiral Akainu, Admiral Kizaru. It is a pleasure to finally meet you."
With a determined and piercing gaze, Akainu took a step forward.
"Your reputation precedes you, Admiral Henituse. We are aware of your... methods. We trust that you grasp the rules and expectations within our ranks."
A thin smile played at the corner of Cale's lips, more of a calculated than an actual sign of affection.
"I am here to ensure the Marine's dominance is maintained, Admiral Akainu. I understand perfectly."
