Daffodils were highly stretched
But Daisy kissed the ground
Your single glimpse stole my breath
With love's sweet song unbound.
The number of roses planted was dozens
But still I couldn't confess
I wrote letters holding words in tons
But my feelings were still suppressed.
And here was the day
Holding a captivating golden ray
With courage found, I finally spoke
But my dream shattered when I awoke.
With a window's light, I sat on that chair
Penning those words, with my laid heart bareI wounded my soul by not giving it to you
but in love's embrace, sometimes silence has its share
