(sorry, I forgot to write a prologue, so I'm writing it now)

As the axe was being thrown, the girl froze in fear. Was her favorite tribute of that year not going to win? He was in the last two, that would be unfair. Then, the boy fell down. "Oh no," the girl thought to herself. "Mom, is he dead?" she asked her mother. "I don't know, honey," her mother replied. As the boy laid on the ground, holding a hand before his stomach, her eyes widened as the axe came back, aiming at the girl who threw it at her favorite tribute. The axe then impaled the district 1 female's head, killing her right that instant. "The canon!" the girl called out. "Mom, he won! Haymitch won!"
