Good morning Ava, killian  replied. Or would you prefer i call you... Hazel? Looks like i found out after all. He further said.

Me and ellie are the only ones whom seem to caught that.

It's pleasure meeting all of you. I have a feeling I'll be seeing some of you around.....a lot. He replied while looking at me.

Uh-oh! I'm sooo dead! Today I'll be sleeping on street i guess. Oh wait! I can sleep at ellie's I'm sure she won't deny it. But for how many days that too jobless. Ughhhh....

You lied. He growled. "When i asked about what you do 'intern at knight gaming' was not your answer".

There's a perfect explanation. I said.

Meeting you at the bar, hiring you as my housekeeper.... was that all part of you plan? He asked.

I should've known better than to trust lucas's lousy idea. A questionnaire to discern character? Nonsense! He said. "You're just like the housekeepers from before.  You're all after something from me, except you're more ambitious than the others. It's not just about the apartment is it? You're after recognition at work as well".

N-no, o-of course n-not. I stuttered.
Stupid me! Why do i have to stutter infront him.

The photo you took... it all makes perfect sense now. He said. "How were you even hired at my company? Was it through deceitful means as well? He questions and take out his phone. I have to speak to Raven about this".

I draw the line there. I'm absolutely livid! How dare he suggest something like that! So i headbutt him. He drops his phone out of shock at my sudden attack.

What do you think you're doing? He asked.

I submited a portfolio just like any  other candidates. I got in fair and square. I replied. "I have no idea how we met at the bar, and also you kept your identity secret for the housekeeper application. There was no way i could've known it was you".

I took a shaky breath to calm myself down.  "Call it crazy twist of fate ot something else, but..... before i got say anything he cuts me right off

I don't believe in fate. He replied curtly. There was a pin-drop silence as his words hung in the air.

Killian clenches his jaw in frustration. I've definitely hit the right nerve this time. His dark eyes are glaring daggers at me. This time however, I'm not afraid to stand up to him.

But getting emotional has never been my stong suit. It's as if the floodgates have crashed right open and tears begin to well up in my eyes.

I....didn't ask to be cheated out of my savings..... i didn't asked to be harassed at the bar....i didn't ask to be someone's housekeeper....i just wanted to prove my mom wrong..... i just wanted to get out of Mirfield and design a game of my own.

Killian seems taken aback by my sudden outburst. His expression softens a little.

I..... he was about to say something but his words were cut off but the ringing of door bell.

Who's there? I questioned.

Killian walks over to the video intercom and i trail behind him, wiping my tears away.
