Louis closed the room behind him and looked around, his hands clasped behind his back "so" Harry exclaimed looking at the other "now that we're in? What do we do?"
"Let's find out how the killer got away" replied Louis obviously, "so.." he positioned himself near the desk "Fletch's body was found sitting on the chair, the upper part of the body on the desk and the gun on the ground, right under the his right hand dangling..." he began to recreate the scene in his mind "in this office there is only one window and one door, but both were locked from the inside, so the murderer didn't exit through those" he then added "Maybe there's some kind of secret room?"
"Secret room," Harry repeated unconvincedly.
"Yes, possible, right?" Louis approached the bookcase, starting to take out all the books, looking for a particular one, hoping that it would magically open a secret portal to another room. Maybe he had seen too many films. "Nothing!" He exclaimed in defeat after taking every book off the shelves "there must be something, I know there is something"
Louis sighed and put his hands on his hips, when "Louis?" Harry called him.
"What?" He asked, turning to the curly one.
"Before he became a minister, what was Fletch's job?"
"I think he was a physique, but I'm not sure"
The latter pointed to the ceiling "look at the corners of the ceiling" he pointed up, "there is something written on each corner"
Louis looked up and did as directed. Indeed, in each corner there was written a letter with, sometimes, a number nearby "r equals eight" he read one of those, then moved on to another "t equals two" he looked at the third corner "V" this time there was no number, just that letter "K, m, h" like before, this was also just a letter "do you think it means something?"
Harry shrugged, shaking his head as his eyebrows furrowed as he thought of an explanation. He remained thinking for whole minutes, when "Kmh, as in like kilometers on hours" he almost whispered "r as in radius, t as in period and v as in speed!"
Louis raised a lip "nice, what does that have to do with anything?"
Harry snorted "it's the formula for velocity in uniform circular motion" Louis shook his head, as if to indicate he didn't understand what the other was talking about "velocity equals two pi r divided by T?" Again, he shook his head "did you study physics in high school?"
"Yeah, but I was very bad at it"
"Oh my God," he rolled his eyes, "if the radius is eight and the period is two, then it's fifty point twenty-four over two, so twenty-five point twelve kilometers an hour," he looked around, as if restlessly. He noticed a toy train in a corner on the floor, positioned on equally fake tracks. What caught his attention, however, was their arrangement. "Circle," he muttered, crouching on the ground, next to the toys. He tried to move the tracks, but they were stuck to the ground, only the train could move, but only on those tracks placed in a circle "Louis, you still have that sort of speed camera that the police have in the cars you stole a few days ago from those cops?"
"Of course, it's in the car, why?"
"Go get it for me"
Louis nodded confused but left the office anyway. They had parked the car right under the building, so it only took him a few minutes to retrieve that object and return to Harry "here it is" he said to him, asking him "Now what?"
"Now use that to see the speed of this train," Harry replied, starting to move the toy. Louis brought the object closer to it and read what was written on it "how much is it then?"
