Author's POV:

After being saved, all of a sudden Isagi hugged Rin tightly while still crying but not as much as earlier. Rin blushed a bit by the sudden contact of their bodies. While those two were in their own world, Bachra just stared at them smiling to himself for a while until he finally giggled because of the sight.

Isagi and Rin remembered that they were still in school, almost immediately Isagi pulled himself away from Rin. "H-heh sor-ry bout' that", Isagi said wiping away the rest of the remaining tears on his face. "Oh by the way wanna eat with us? I mean that bully earlier was pretty scary! You'll be more safe if you're with people!", Bachira said cheerfully.

"Y-yea I was gonna ask if I could, haha", Isagi said trying to sound cheerful like Bachira but terribly failed. The three made their way to the canteen together in silence.

"Ah! I almost forgot to ask for your names! What are your names sorry.", Isagi said breaking the silence. "Wha-", "My name is Bachira and he's Rin", Bachira said playfully pointing at Rin completely ignoring the fact that he interrupted Rin.

'How does he not remember me? I mean sure we have been away from each other for 5 years. I guess I'll act like we just met.', Rin was deep in thought.

"Yo Rin!", Hiori said with a smile on his face. "Hi Hiori..", Rin said without looking at him.

Hiori ran to Rin since he could tell something was wrong with him. "Hey Rin!", Karasu said trying to catch up with Hiori.

"What happened Hiori? Did Karasu finally ask you out?", Bachira said teasing them. "Actually he did! How did you know?" , Hiori asked with blush slightly tinting his cheeks while Karasu was smirking. "Wha- It was a joke hehe. Anyways congratulations bud!", Bachira said both happy and kinda confused how Karasu manged to ask Hiori.

They all go to the canteen and talk on the way there. Hiori and Karasu say goodbye since they eat at a different table. Bachira shows Isagi the way to their table where they sit with 4 other students while Rin is already ahead of Bachira and Isagi.

All of them sit down, get their lunch except Isagi since he usually doesn't eat much. The others don't notice that Isagi didn't have lunch so they just chatted with each other, introducing themselves to Isagi, exchanging numbers, and overall just having a good time.

"Sorry guys I gotta go to the bathroom real quick, bye!", Isagi quickly said heading to the bathroom. "Ok! I'll watch over your stuff!", Bachira replied even though he knew Isagi probably wouldn't be able to hear him.

Bachira tried to find Isagi's stuff but couldn't find any. "Huh thats strange, Isagi doesn't have his water nor his lunch here! Maybe he brought it.", Bachira said after checking the whole table.

"Guys, I don't think he ate anything for lunch. He didn't bring anything with him when he went to the bathroom!", Chigiri said also trying to find Isagi's stuff. Eventually the whole group became suspicious of Isagi on why he didn't eat lunch.

With Isagi:

'Whew that was a close call! Shit.. My wound is bleeding now.. I didn't bring my first aid kit with me too...', Isagi was thinking on how he should hide his wound on his right arm. And boy was it big it was like 10 inches or more. ( 🤭😏😩🤨 )

Isagi went inside the boys bathroom holding his right arm. He washed the wound and wrapped it with tissue.' Okay that hides it pretty well I think. I need to get back to the classroom, I can't go to the canteen and risk them seeing my arm like this.', Isagi thought.

He went to the classroom trying to hide his wound. All of a sudden the same bully from earlier pinned him to the wall ( again not romantically 😒).

"Heh where do you think your going, you almost made me go to detention you rat! Time for payback...", the bully said with mischief in his eyes while Isagi just stayed still, frozen in shock. The bully then punched Isagi on his face and stomach multiple times. Soon enough it was time for class and the bully ran away to his class (the bully is in a different class). Isagi managed to get up and walk to his class, still forgetting that he was injured badly.

Isagi opened the door and greeted the teacher who didn't even bother to look at Isagi and just pointed to his seat.

When his classmates saw how injured Isagi was they were shocked, they all tried to get the attention of the teacher but was just ignored.

I feel bad for isagi 😔 but it had to happen for the sake of the story.
