set in india, 1987, solange seems to lead a normal life as an explorer and small-time musician; constantly travelling from country to country. but during one of her short time expeditions, she meets freyja; a struggling writer. but as solange realises that her crew—the only ones who knew how to translate people's words for her—forgot to tell her that they were leaving in less than an hour, she has to manage life with the only local she knew from there—freyja—until she finds a way to get back to the uk.

disclaimer !
this book, is no way, means any harm to anybody who is mute or deaf, or is disabled in any way; i wrote this for a more positive view on it. rather than making it about pitying araidne and freyja, i chose to write about the other aspects of disability, considering that i myself actually have one that, although it isn't too bad, still hinders me from doing some things, but even then, i've done other things that give me joy and make me feel that i'm still able to things others can, and that's one of the main themes of this book !
since this is, however, about two girls who have disabilities, there are scenes of some background characters doing ableist things and mocking them. i do not, in any intent, want to make this topic sound like a joke. this also contains foul language. thank you !
