I can't believe August. Beth was most likely apart of it too. But why would they do that to her. She's mine. We arrive at the hospital and I won't let go of her hand. She has a black eye, blood dripping from her mouth and many bruises. As the hospital doors open they take her to an emergency room and I have to wait.

I walk up to the desk. "Can I see Azya Curtess, is she ok?" I ask them with my eyes watering

"Are you family?"

"I practically am ,I'm her boyfriend"

"Sorry only mother, father, brother, sister."

"Ok" I sit down and put my head in my hands
And I suddenly get an idea, her parents live in California, We are in Philly. I quickly get my phone and call my mom.

"Hey mom, Azya is in the hospital, come quick,they only let family in."

"Ok cuz they gon let Cookie in, to see my girl."

Within 5 minutes my mom was there.

She walks straight up to the desk signaling me to come up to.

"Excuse me I think you should let us in me and my husband are her guardians while her parents are California. So please let me and my son in." My mom says

"Sorry ma'am you have to be family."

"Do you know who I am!?"

"Yes I do you're Cookie Lyon."

"And you can't let me in because...?"

"You aren't family."

"You like the people Empire represents"

"Uh yes ma'am very much."

"I can get you and a friend a private concert for everyone of them." she says smirking "but you have to let us in. Oh and did I mention you can meet them too."

"Right this way." The lady at the desk says

"That was real easy" my mom whispers

We get led to door 243b. The lady opens the door and I walk straight in to the pale girl I love. I sat there and held her hand.

"She's knocked out and should be waking up soon but she'll be in a lot of pain and you'll have to get out at that time. But you can talk to her and she'll hear you." after the nurse said that I started talking to her immediately.

"Azya baby I need you to wake up, I know this is early but I love you. I will get everyone that did this to you."

I wanted to talk back but I couldn't then I opened my eyes and pain shot through my body, I wanted to scream but I'm not weak.

"Ow ow ow." With those three sounds nurses flooded in with doctors."Brysh-" I almost finished his name until I was sedated and I fell asleep.

I open my eyes and a little pain shoots to my head, I put my hand up on my head and turn it to see a sleeping Bryshere and a dark sky.

"Aw my little Bry Bry" I say softly touching his face.

"What I'm up! Azya!" He looks at me in amazement and kisses my cheek "I've been waiting for you to awaken, my mixed sleeping beauty"

I close my eyes again, and shed a tear.

"What's wrong babe" he says his expression going from happy to worried.

"I am most likely not beautiful anymore." I say

"You will always be beautiful in my eyes."

"Aw you can be cliche too"

"Only for my girl"
I try and hug him after that remark but I instantly remember the needles and everything stuck into my body.

"So Azya who did this to you?"

"Well everything is blurry but I remember Beth and August. How many days has it been?"

"A week"

I shed a tear and he puts his soft plump lips on mine.
