Episode 3: Chase and the Sparkle

In New Adventure Bay, Chase was going to the anime store to buy a new mecha.

Chase: Alright. I think I should have more than enough money to buy that mecha, and if I still have a lot left, I can just buy a manga or two while I'm there.

Then Chase noticed a young girl who looked like she was 10 years old staring at a shop window and wondered what she was up to since she was all alone. Then he came up to her, wanting to know more.

Chase: Hey, excuse me, are you lost?

Then the girl noticed Chase.

Girl: Oh, hi mister. I'm not lost. It's only a block from here to where I live.

Chase: Oh... are your parents here with you? It's dangerous for you to be here unattended while you're still so young.

Girl: Actually, I'm an orphan, and the place where I live is the orphanage. I got permission from the adults to go to the bakery to buy some pastries.

Chase: By yourself?

Girl: It's alright, mister. They say that it's okay for me to leave by myself but only for a short while.

Then the girl turned and faced the store window again.

Girl: This bakery has new churros with chocolate dip that I wanna try, but I just realized that I forgot to bring money with me.

Then the girl got an idea.

Girl: Hey, mister, can you please buy the churros for me?

Then Chase, knowing that the girl was kindhearted and honest, decided to buy her the churros with chocolate dip.

Chase: Okay.

Then the girl became happy.

Girl: Yay! Thank you, mister! My name's Sparkle, by the way.

Chase: What a nice name, Sparkle. I'm Chase.

Sparkle: Nice to meet you, Big Brother Chase.

Then Chase became surprised that Sparkle called him Big Brother.

Chase: Uh... Big Brother...?

A moment later, Chase was walking Sparkle back to the orphanage with her eating the churros he bought her.

Chase: So, how are the churros?

Sparkle: They're delicious, Big Brother. Do you wanna try it?

Chase: Oh, no thanks. I'm good.

Sparkle: Please...

Then Chase decides to accept one churro.

Chase: Okay. I'll try one.

Then Chase took a churro and dipped it in the chocolate dip before tasting it.

Chase: Mmmmm... it's delicious.

Sparkle: I know, right?

Then Sparkle noticed that she and Chase were at the front of the orphanage.

Sparkle: Oh, we're here.

Then Chase and Sparkle entered the orphanage where a nurse came over to talk to them.

Nurse: Sparkle, welcome back.

Sparkle: Hi, Nurse Natasha.

Then Nurse Natasha noticed Chase.

Nurse Natasha: And who might you be?

Chase: Hi, I'm Chase. Sparkle and I met at the bakery one block from here and I wanted to accompany her while she returned here to make sure she was safe.
