The alleyway smelled terrible, not because it wasn't clean, but because it was covered in human blood.

Jenna: NO CLUES, NO FINGERPRINTS, NO DNA. WHO IS DOING ALL THIS?

One of the best detectives in her department, and arguably in all of Seoul, Jenna. She is 26 years old and right now she is frustrated by the lack of evidence to catch the killer.

Minho: Calm down, Jenna.

Minho, her friend, partner, and colleague, was also a skilled detective. He supported Jenna through thick and thin and had a small crush on her, though he never showed it.

Officer: Detective Kim, we found a letter here. It has "For Jenna" written on it.

Jenna walked towards the officer and took the letter from his hand. As she read it, her eyes turned red with anger. She crumpled the paper and threw it away harshly.

Minho: What does it say?

Jenna: "Are you really the best detective in Seoul?"

Jenna whispered, her eyes red with rage.

Minho: So, he's mocking you.

Jenna: It's not the first time.

Minho: You're right. We should go now.

Jenna: Have they collected all the pictures of the body and the scene?

Minho: Yes, and I've sent the body for postmortem as well.

Jenna: Hmm, let's go.

Lily: I'm not listening to anything!

Jenna: Try to understand, Lily. I can't come. I have so much work to do! New cases open every day, and I haven't even finished the previous ones.

Lily: Yeah, I saw the news. It's the same person, right?

Jenna: Yeah.

Lily: You should take a break from all this and join me tomorrow.

Lily is Jenna's sister, six years younger than her. Jenna loves her sister a lot. After their parents' death, Jenna took care of Lily even though she was only twelve. They lived with their aunt and uncle, but their aunt was abusive towards them. After achieving her goal of becoming a detective, Jenna moved out, leaving Lily alone. However, Jenna soon realized that Lily needed her, so they started living together again. As Jenna's popularity grew among the media and criminals, her life became more complicated and dangerous. To keep Lily safe from any trouble arising from Jenna's profession, she bought a house for Lily so she could live independently.
