Rivals...? (Plants VS. Zombies)

Part 1 : Beginnings

(The timeline is based off on around Level 1-2.)

(It was a Sunny Sunday afternoon, humans were supposed to be out and away from their houses to go to restaurants, malls, markets... every place you can think of going at a Sunday afternoon. The usual bustling streets that were crowded with pedestrians are now more like a "Ghost City". Although malls are closed, we can still see a few people inside there, however, they looked terrified, like something was going to happen. You might be asking, "What is going on?" Well, the reason why they looked like this was that a Zombie Apocalypse was coming. They thought hiding in their Houses would help them, but there was nothing else to defend their home at this point. They were doomed to get their brains eaten. While all of this happened, one Homeowner - Crazy Dave decided to use two plants to defend his home from the Zombies : A Peashooter named Peazy and a Sunflower named Suzie. Everything seems to be going well, with Peazy taking down the zombies pretty easily. And Suzie producing enough sun for other plants to grow. However, one Pole Vaulter Zombie suddenly appeared and things seem to not be going too well for the Plants when this monster arrived.)

Peazy (Confused) : W-What is that zombie? How is it moving so fast?

(The zombie jumps right through Peazy and attacks Suzie.)

Suzie : (Crying) AHHH!

(Peazy shoots a barrage of peas on that Pole Vaulter Zombie which thankfully kills it.)

Peazy : S-Suzie... are you alright?

(Peazy was expecting a heart-warming thanks or something. But Suzie, tries to not get embarrassed by the other plants, says THIS : )

Suzie : I-I didn't need your help anyways.

Peazy : W-Wha-

Suzie : I could have destroyed that zombie but you had to interfere!

Peazy : That's not so nice of you.

Suzie : So what?

Peazy : You never were the nicest person, Suzie.

Quit lying to yourself.

(That was when Suzie couldn't stand it anymore. She slashed Peazy's face with full force before getting stopped by other plants.)

Ray : Suzie, stop it! Calm down!

Wade : Peazy, are you okay?

Peazy : Yeah dude... I'm fine...

Suzie : You know what Peazy? I hate you!

(Those words struck Peazy pretty hard. Due to a past moment that he remembered while listening to her heartbreaking words : )

(Flashback.)

Peazy : Hi! Who are you?

Suzie : I-I am S-Suzie...

Peazy : Nice to meet you!

Suzie (Blushing a bit) : C-Can we b-b-be f-friends?

Peazy : Sure! (Hugs Suzie)

(Suzie and Peazy became good friends at that moment and Suzie started developing some feelings for Peazy until now.)

(End of Flashback.)

(The two plants eventually were separated from each other, Suzie staying at the Zen Garden and Peazy staying at Crazy Dave's room.)

(The next day.)

Mia : Heyyy Suzie! How is your relationship with Peazy? You won him over yet?

Suzie : Sorry, but I don't want to talk about it.

Mia : What? Why? I thought you guys are friends?

Suzie : We were.

Mia : What happened between you two?

Suzie : Can you just shut up for once and give me some peace?

(Mia was hurt by those words and ended up leaving. This is the time when Suzie started having a rapid personality change.)

Mia : Hey Wade!

Wade : What's up Mia!

Mia : Suzie's been acting quite strangely recently...

Wade : Yeah... I noticed too... I'm quite worried about her...

Mia : Anyways, what happened between her and Peazy?

Wade : Well, they got into a huge fight last night.

Mia : Oh... was any of them hurt?

Wade : Yep, Peazy was slashed quite hard by her and he now has a scar in his face. It's permanent now.

Mia : (Struggling to find the right words) That's... sad... anyways... I gotta go now... see you!

Wade : Okay... see you sometime later!

(Mia leaves while Wade goes to do some Wall-Nut bowling.)

Sam : Peazy? Are you in here?

Peazy : W-Who is this...?

Sam : It's me, Sam.

Peazy : Hey dude... what brings you here?

Sam : Woah, since when did you have such a cool scar?

Peazy : ...I'd rather not talk about it.

Sam : Oh... sorry if I made you feel a bit uncomfortable...

Peazy : It's fine... Suzie did this to me...

Sam : What? I thought you two were friends... or even more than just friends...

(Peazy blushed a bit hearing this but quickly remembered what Suzie did to him and he gets the thought to distance himself from her.)

Peazy : We WERE friends.

Sam : Oh... I'm sorry about that. Anyways, I'm gonna have to go back to my hometown next week, I guess we might meet sometime later...

Peazy : (Hugs Sam) See you soon...

Sam : I hope we meet again someday!

(Sam leaves the room to his room in order to do some packing-up.)

Well, this is the end for Part 1 : How it all started. This one is more like a flashback of what happened and why the two distanced themselves from each other.
