All the 13 members clapped their hands as they welcomed Jaerim on the set. Jaerim took a deep breath and walked towards the set with her best smile trying to calm down her nervousness. Although she's an idol and faced numerous people, it's rare to interact with full of young guys all alone.
She went to variety shows and stuffs but never alone, not even much interaction with male idols because of the taboo shits that goes around the kpop industry and some toxic fans. So, in the end, Jaerim always maintained a distance and today was also the same thing.
All she need to do is, maintain professionalism and keep a safe distance.
She bowed to the members and went to sit beside Jaesuk with the cards in her hand. Jaesuk smiled at the girl and shook hands with her. She wasn't a stranger to Jaesuk as they worked together in few shows like "BUSTED" for 3 seasons straight, few episodes of her in RUNNING MAN, SIXTH SENSE and were pretty much close to each other.
"After almost a year, I finally got to see Jaerim because of her schedule and tour overseas, it's hard to meet her. Now that I see her she is still the same and she looks so adorable"
Jaesuk was honest with his compliments because Jaerim was one of the unhinged idol he has come across and enjoyed working with so he wasn't stingy with compliment.
Jaerim smiled and nodded "Thank you oppa, you're always busy with shows so we could barely hangout but with Seventeen-sunbaenim today.. we got to meet each other so we got to thank Seventeen members"
The members chuckled at their interaction and nodded their heads as Hoshi commented "Seriously, LAVELLE's schedule is no joke. LYN and I are friends so she updated me with their schedules and even though we're busy.. they're busier than us"
Jaerim knew the two were close and often hung out too so it's no surprise that Hoshi knew LAVELLE'S schedule like how LYN and JINJOO knows theirs.
"Yes, because we haven't made a proper comeback for a year our schedules were packed but soon we'll be out of it"
Seungkwan who was quiet suddenly noticed something and looked at his stylist team who were at the corner looking at them "Thinking of it, the two MC's are matching their dresses and us ? aren't we too formal? Did the stylist team get the wrong information?"
Indeed, the members were in proper formal dresses while Jaerim was dressed in a soft blue pleated A-line high-waisted skirt paired with a simple royal cardigan with her hair curled at the end with a cute blue berret as she wore a matching coloured soft blue stilletos while Jaesuk was also wearing a jeans with a royal blue shirt.
The contrast could be seen. The members clicked their tongue while the camera shot towards the stylist teams who hide their face as they laugh out loud. Indeed, they somehow got the wrong information that the boys were going for an interview which they thought was a "press conference" and ended up dressing in that way.
"Even though they got the wrong information, there is no denial that Seventeen-sunbaenim all looks good in the suits and looks more handsome" Jaerim's comment made the members happy as they proceeded with the show as the mc took turns to host.
As the filming was going on, Jaerim knew that the attention was on her and the members were kind enough to joke around with her and make her feel comfortable but a certain eyes was on her and she thought she was being delusional but something in her keeps on telling that that it was not a delusion or a hallucination.
Jaesuk was going through the cue card as W Hoshi was explaining his ideal type to the fans and to Jaerim, he chuckled and looked at the members then to the girl. He knew the staffs were up to something for inviting Jaerim.
"I am sure, the certain someone will be out there waiting for you Hoshi-ssi"
Jaerim looked at Jaesuk as it was his cue to speak, he looked at the next member who was exceptionally quiet throughout the interview because he knows that this guy wasn't someone who'd keep his mouth shut but today, he was quiet and he needed more screentime and the question that he was gonna ask is gonna cook the internet too.
"Mingyu-ssi, I've seen and heard that you're talkative and always talk but today, you're exceptionally quiet. Are you sick or something?"
Now that Jaesuk mentioned it, all the members were hit with the realisation and turn towards the tall guy who sat at the corner next to DK. Mingyu was caught off-guard as he heard his name being mentioned.
"Well, I think I was love-struck at first sight"
The members who were chaotic just now were more in chaos as they broke into laughter and amusement as they hit Mingyu after realising what he and his gaze meant.
