Paridhi's P.O.V

Walking through backstage, I was nervous as hell. I never felt nervous like this before, but today I was. Not only I was fan of the sport but it was something that I found comfort in, something that would put smile on face, light my darkest days, and something I found home in, other than dance.

My team walked and took their position around the stage. I hope we don't mess this up. "All the best Pari, I know you and your team, you'll be great" Anaya spoke, patting my shoulder. I shot her quick smile. I hope we do good; this is last place I would like to mess up my routine.

"I hope we see the same on the ground tomorrow, Viren... Give it up for him everybody!" The anchor spoke. I looked around to find my team all ready to go on stage on their respective position waiting for the que.

The organizer, Shristi shows me a thumbs up indicating that our performance was the next. I nodded and shot a thumbs up back.

"The electrifying world of cricket and the mesmerizing artistry of dance. What makes this performance even more special is how it intertwines with the spirit of cricket, like cricketers on the field, these dancers will showcase their teamwork, coordination, and synchronization. Let us embrace the spirit of unity and entertainment as we cheer for these talented artists who are about to dazzle us with their skill, precision, and sheer passion. It gives me immense pleasure to introduce to you a dance group that will surely leave you spellbound and ignite a whole new level of excitement in this cricket event. Without further ado, I invite you all to put your hands together and welcome our phenomenal dance group 'Nritya Natraj' to the stage! Welcome them with a huge round of an applause!!."

I closed my eyes and prayed to god one last time before going on stage. The music began blasting through the speakers. My team mates began their moves as they enter the stage. The tune for my entrance played through the speakers.

I began my move and entered the stage, I heard the crowd cheer and applause. We continued our moves and switching our formations which looked beautiful each and every time. The music ended with us in our pose.

The crowd gave a standing ovation and we remain in that post for ten seconds. We gathered in a cluster and gave our thanks to all the audience. "Ms. Paridhi I would like for you to say few words." The anchor said. Don't be nervous, you've done this a lot of time I thought to myself. I took the mic from his hand and walked forward to the stage.

"I stand here tonight as the choreographer of this magnificent dance performance at this remarkable cricket event, and I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all of you for being a part of this unforgettable evening. It is an honor to address you and express my deepest appreciation. First and foremost, I would like to thank the organizers of this event for giving us the opportunity to showcase our artistry and creativity on this prestigious platform. I would also like to acknowledge the entire dance troupe. Your dedication, talent, and unwavering commitment to excellence have made this performance truly outstanding. A special mention goes to the technical team and backstage crew who have been instrumental in bringing this performance to fruition. Your expertise, precision, and attention to detail have ensured that every move, every light, and every sound came together seamlessly. Your hard work behind the scenes often goes unnoticed, but please know that we are grateful for your dedication and contribution." I breathed out. Everyone clapped and cheered.

"Allow me to share with you the reasons why cricket holds such a special place in my heart. The intricacies of the game, from the delicate balance between bat and ball to the tactical decisions made by captains, never fail to fascinate me. The sheer complexity and depth of cricket keep me constantly engaged and eager to learn more. Cricket is also a game that showcases the values of sportsmanship, resilience, and fair play. It teaches us the importance of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. Cricket is not just a game played on the field; it is a part of our cultural fabric. It brings families, friends, and even nations together, evoking a sense of pride and belonging. In conclusion, my love for cricket stems from its ability to transcend boundaries, unite people, and inspire us." My team cheered and the audience clapped.
