Sisters

Bella's POV

My sisters and I anxiously wait outside my mother's office. Once we heard the study door shut we had quickly made our way over here. We spent most of last night talking about how exciting it would be to have a little sister, especially one as sweet and cute as Olivia. I love my sisters and we sure do have fun around here but having a little sister is certainly different and from the glimpse we had when Olivia regressed around us, she is adorable and lots of fun.

I really enjoyed that one time I got to braid her hair and I hope we will be able to do that more often. I keep thinking about all the fun we'll have with our hair when I hear the door creek open and Daniela making her way into mother's study, I talked with her about this but I can tell she is just too excited to keep on waiting. I mean, we had been waiting out here for at least 25 minutes and at this point we were all pretty desperate to know what Olivia had chosen.

As Daniela makes her way into the room Cassandra and I follow close behind curious to see what we'll encounter. I softly close the door behind me and as I look I see Olivia on mother's lap, they're hugging each other and Olivia's head is resting on mother's shoulder, a calm and peaceful expression resting on her face.

"Well hello my darlings" mother says offering us a warm smile. "I see someone just couldn't help but barge into my office?" She says looking at Daniela with a raised eyebrow.

Daniela just shrugs her shoulders and offers her a cheeky smile in return "oh come on mother, you had been locked here for ages and I just couldn't wait any longer, soooo what happened? What did you choose Olvia? Are you going to be my little sister? I really hope you are, I'm so excited for all the things we'll be able to do and I'll finally have a partner to get in trouble with, it'll be so fun and -"

"Hmhmhm" mother clears her throat stopping Daniela from ranting any longer " how about we let Olivia here answer your question before you get ahead of yourself, hmm?" She says. At her words we all turn to Olivia hoping to hear the words we've all been waiting for. Cassandra looks intently with her arms crossed pretending not to care too much as usual but honestly that girl drives me nuts, she definitely cares much more than she lets on but I think she's afraid to get close to people, no one's fooling me, her arms might be crossed but the incessant tapping of her foot on the floor shows she's nervous.

Olivia turns her face toward us and the moment she smiles we all sigh in relief " I think we're sisters now" she says. We all smile at her warmly and Daniela immediately throws herself onto her in a hug " yay, I finally have a little sister, we're going to have so much fun Olie"
"Olie?"
" oh, yeah, is it okay if I call you that?" Daniela asks , a hint of worry in her voice.
"Of course Dani" Olivia answers in return making Daniela smile at the new nickname.

With that, mother picks Olivia up and sets her on the ground as she stands up and turns to all of us " oh my beautiful girls, I'm truly so happy things turned out this way" she says as she gently caresses Olivia's cheek. "I say a movie night is in order to celebrate! I'll go get everything ready while you girls enjoy each other's company for a while hmm?"

Daniela lets out a squeak of delight at the prospect of a movie night and spending the afternoon together as mother sets everything up, I look to my left and see Cassandra smiling softly, to my right however I see the little Rose frowning soflty as she takes a step closer to mother. I can tell she's going to be quite the little koala bear attached to mother every chance she gets. I step closer to her and kneel to be more at her level as I softly take her hands in mine "it's okay Olivia, we'll have lots of fun while mother organizes a special movie night for all of us" I say offering her a warm smile which seems to reassure her some but I can still see some hesitation in her face "how about we do our hair, would you like me to braid your hair like that other time? I can even put pretty flowers in it", at the mention of braids and flowers her worries seem to dissipate as she grabs my hands more tightly and walks us over to where Daniela and Cassandra are " let's go do our hair Dani and Cass, Bella said we can even put pretty flowers in our hair" she tells them with an excited smile.
