Josie and Creed stood at the lake's edge, the moonlight casting long shadows around them. Creed turned to her, his eyes filled with an intensity that made her heart race. "I want to show you my favorite place. But.. We have to fly there," he said.
Josie blinked in confusion, then realization dawned on her. "Creed, you can't shift right now! If we're caught, the Headmaster will have our heads!" She tried to sound stern, but the thrill of the unknown tugged at her resolve.
Creed laughed, a sound that sent shivers down her spine. "Come on, little light wielder, play with me." His smile turned feral, his eyes gleaming with a wild excitement that Josie found impossible to resist.
"Will you come?" Creed asked, his voice dropping to a low, persuasive tone."Gods! Fine, Creed! But if we get caught, I'll say you forced me," Josie relented, feeling a mix of fear and exhilaration. Creed's smile widened into something menacing, and he took several steps back. He lifted his arms, and black magic crackled around him, dancing like dark lightning. Within moments, his body was swallowed by onyx smoke, and when it cleared, the dragon stood before her.
Josie gasped, taking in the sight of Creed in his beast form. He was enormous, a creature made to conquer, standing before her in all his terrifying glory. His scales shimmered in the moonlight, reflecting an eerie beauty. Lethal spikes crowned his neck and head, and his wings stretched out, powerful and majestic.
Josie held a hand to her chest, feeling her heart pound against her ribs. The sight of Creed's dragon form was awe-inspiring. His wings looked strong enough to endure any storm, to soar across continents. He was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen, and seeing him fly across the lake that one night was nothing compared to this."Come," Creed's voice rumbled in her mind, deep and resonant. She hesitated for a moment, then nodded, stepping closer to him.
With a gentle, almost tender motion, Creed lowered himself, allowing Josie to climb onto his back. She settled between his powerful shoulder blades, her fingers gripping his scales tightly. The sensation was strange and thrilling, feeling the living, breathing creature beneath her.
With a powerful beat of his wings, Creed launched into the air. Josie gasped as they soared upwards, the ground falling away beneath them. The cool night air rushed past her, and she felt a sense of freedom and exhilaration unlike anything she had ever experienced.
They flew higher, the landscape spreading out below them in a patchwork of shadows and moonlit fields. Josie felt Creed's power and grace in every movement, the strength of his wings, the smoothness of his flight. She couldn't help but marvel at the incredible creature he had become.
After a while, they began to descend, heading towards a distant mountain range. Creed's favorite place, she realized. Her heart raced with anticipation as they neared their destination, the adventure only just beginning.
