"You look beautiful, baby." San held Wooyoung's hand and clenched it. Wooyoung looked away from the window and smiled out of nervousness.
The day had finally arrived for the dinner party. San wore an all black suit and Wooyoung all white, the one San bought for Wooyoung for the ocassion. They were in a limousine, on their way to the event and somehow, Wooyoung felt nervous out of nowhere. Maybe he's not used to the amount of people and wondered what to say if anybody will question him and his relations with San. Submerged into his overthinking, San reassured Wooyoung to stay calm and always stick by his side no matter what. Seonghwa and Yunho were coming at a different time later, followed by another limousine, because they had to deal with some matter. Yeosang said that he wanted to stay and take care of the suite. Getting close to the venue, Wooyoung could see the lines of limousine infront of them and the cameras flashing at every person that came out to a long red carpet into the entrance of the building. Some posed for the cameras, some went straight ahead into the building. Wooyoung didn't realize that the limousine stopped and it was time to get out. Two security guards were waiting for their arrival and assist through getting to the hall.
"Wait for a moment." San said as he buttoned up his blazer before he got out and opened the door for Wooyoung. San reached out his hand to Wooyoung. Wooyoung took a deep breathe and grabbed his hand. As they walked on the red carpet, Wooyoung kept holding San's hand, didn't even realize he was clenching it, looking down avoiding any pictures getting taken. San however, smiled to the cameras and waved equally to each side.
"Woo, I'm here. It's okay. Just...have fun." San shook Wooyoung's hand once they entered the building, making their way to the elevator.
"I just...I'm just nervous."
"You weren't nervous back home when we had the party."
"That's different. We didn't have cameras that time."
"Aww, someone's a lil camera shy, I see?" San teased by holding up Wooyoung's chin.
"At least everyone knows you're mine."
"That's so cringe!" Wooyoung bursted out laughing with San.
"Haha, okay, okay. At least that made you feel better."
"Yeah." Wooyoung smiling and was about to kiss San until the elevator door opened. It was the first time Wooyoung saw the hall where the event was held. At the side, there caterings where the food and drinks were. Waiters and waitress walking back and forth to each table bringing their dinner and their selection of wine. At the end of the hall, a live orchestra was playing classical music on top of the stage which surrounds the atmosphere with one word that Wooyoung had in mind: rich. The balcony was lit with artificial warm light and decorative plants which seemed real. Most of the men wore their normal occassional suits, women took the chance to stand out with their backless dress or their latest purchase of jewelleries and designer items. News reporters were seen at the corners of the hall, some interviewed the guests and the cameras were filming the event. Wooyoung questioned if this was how companies usually celebrate with such lavish planning.
"Choi San, Jung Wooyoung, Glad to meet you once more in this wonderful occassion." Mr. Haruki greeted them as they walked to their designated table with Mr. Haruki. San was talking with Mr. Haruki while Wooyoung was mindlessly standing still. How did he know my name ? Where's Seonghwa, Yunho and Yeosang? Shouldn't they be here right now?
