As desirable to have a small flock of admirers following you around and watching your every move may seem, Cedric found it a bit... overwhelming.
And it wasn't like he could just take out his eyes whenever a fan got a little overly excited around him, so for months and months, he spent his entire day running to each class and hiding in the bathrooms or grounds or wherever he could to get away from his ensemble during his free periods. Even during breakfast, lunch and dinner, for three straight months, Cedric had been living off leftovers, like the occasional turkey leg, or loaf of bread that his friends had been slipping him as he found it incredibly easy to loose his appetite when people would try to sit next to him, shoving his friends aside and shamelessly flirt with him.
Unfortunately, he found that his fans had been catching onto him, and today, he had just finished Charms, and was looking for an escape. As soon as Professor Flitwick announced the end of class in his squeaky voice, Cedric grabbed his bag and bolted out the door, shoving past the small group of people who were waiting for their friends in his class.
As he slammed his back to the bathroom door and magically locked it shut, he breathed a sigh of relief. He'd be alone in here, and safe-
"Er, hi?"
"Ahh!" Cedric's head snapped towards the voice as he yelped in surprise. "Oh, hey Harry,"
"So... what's up?" Harry asked, smiling playfully at Cedric. "Tryna have a quickie before the next class?"
"What? No!" Cedric said, "There's no one else here! Why would I- Who would I be having a quickie with?"
"Well there's nothing wrong with going solo," Harry winked, as he washed his hands.
Cedric laughed, shaking his head. "You almost sound like my fanbase... Not to sound like I'm bragging about them or anything! I just mean- y'know,"
"Woah, slow down mate, I get it, don't worry," Harry laughed too.
"Right," Cedric nodded, going pink, "Sorry- I just, y'know my father didn't make a great impression on you, I just don't want you to think I'm some showy off-y swot,"
Harry laughed harder. "I could never think that, who do you think I am? I'm Harry freaking Potter, I know fanbase,"
"Yeah, I suppose so," Cedric nodded.
There was a silence as Harry wrung his hands, drying them. He gave up and just wiped them on his robes, leaving a drag of wet behind.
"So... How'd you get rid of them?" asked Cedric slowly. "I mean- you're so famous, but I know for a fact you've been eating proper meals in the Great Hall with-"
"Wait, you haven't been eating?" Harry frowned. He suddenly felt concerned for Cedric, a small knot twisting in his stomach. He inspected him, trying to see if Cedric seemed skinnier or malnourished in anyway-
"No, I meant you've been eating without getting harassed left and right," Cedric said quickly.
"So you have been eating," Harry replied.
Cedric nodded, "Yeah, my friends have been bringing me leftovers, sometimes I get a sandwich though". He shrugged, shoving his hands in his pocket.
"Leftovers? A sandwich?" Harry replied incredulously. He wrinkled his nose. "Nah, mate, that sucks. We're gonna fix that."
"Fix... that?" Cedric replied sceptically.
"Yup," Harry pulled out his wand and said very clearly, "Accio cloak!"
A cloak? Cedric thought. What would a cloak do? But even as he thought, he heard something whoosh into the bathrooms through the open window. Harry caught it neatly, and smiled at Cedric's flabbergasted expression.
