The long awaited day had arrived. You were finally free from this hellhole. The place you had been forced to call your home for the past 5 years. Shockingly not even the worst years of your life. The boredom may have been excruciating yet nothing could compare to the turmoil you had to endure in the years leading up to your imprisonment.
You were deported back to Inazuma city. A place you had loved many years ago, that now left you feeling empty, a place you truly resented.
Once again, you had been left all on your own with nothing. What good is getting released when there's no one to support you or even help you get back on your feet? Maybe that's the real punishment. Taking away everything, then giving you hope that things will go back to normal again, and finally watching as you slowly come to the realisation that nobody wants you to have a fresh start, a new chance at life.
You slowly make your way through the streets of the city, wondering where to go. The only place you had still left was a lonesome cabin in the woods. The perfect hideout. It seemed abandoned so most people would overlook it, not thinking much of it, others were simply fearful since you can never really know what or who can be found in places like that.
The sky was getting darker so you fastened your pace, not wanting to be out at this hour, unarmed. The cabin was a few kilometres from the edge of the city hence you reached it in about an hour. It still stood there, looking the same as before. You made your way around the building, to the entrance, cracking the door open as you peeked in. Everything looked the same, nothing had changed. You stepped in and closed the door behind you. Even a hair-tie you remember leaving on the ground was still there. It felt like the entire place had frozen in time. You walked to where your mattress was and lifted it up. The same bloodied knife was there along with a tiny bag of "herbs". They still looked good so you decided to roll up a joint and relieve your mind for a bit.
You sat down on the mattress waiting for it to kick in. It felt nostalgic almost. Soon enough everything started spinning, moving in ways not possible by the laws of physics. Your vision getting blurred and zooming in and out. All your worries were gone in an instant, life seemed so fun now. You were quietly giggling to yourself. Few minutes later you decided to go outside again as you felt like you were in need of fresh air. Stumbling out the door, into the darkness of the night.
While making your way down a small dirt path you noticed a tall figure in the distance, though thinking nothing of it, assuming it was simply a hallucination, you kept walking towards it. As you approached you started noticing more details- the figure was wearing a thick cloak, adorned with fine details on the back. Long blonde hair flowing in the wind. You halted and looked up at their face in a curious manner. The person turned to face you. It was the most gorgeous woman you had ever laid your eyes upon. Smooth pale skin, piercing blue eyes, an eyepatch covering one of them.
You were snapped out of your trance by a stern voice. It was the mysterious woman.
"What are you doing here this late? Shouldn't you be in bed?" she asked you.
"Huhh?? I'm not a child, you know?" you crossed your arms, staring up at her. She was quite tall. She really did get lucky with the gene pull.
"Oh yeah? You sure do look like one if I do say so myself. Now answer me. What are you doing here?" she asked again in a demanding tone. You rolled your eyes in annoyance.
"Simply taking a walk. What did you think?"
"At this hour? Seems unlikely. But you do look quite... ah, how do i put this? Incompetent of doing anything shady." she put her hands on her hips, smirking slightly. How could such a pretty woman be so irritable?
"Watch your mouth, bitch! I'm capable of doing things your tiny shrivelled up brain couldn't even imagine!" you yelled, glaring at her.
"Oh my... so feisty..." she leaned closer to you. "You smell like weed, you know?" she slightly squeezes her nose.
"Is there a problem with that?" you also leaned forward, almost trying to look intimidating.
"No. Now go mind your business, little druggie." she gave you one last glance before turning around. Almost instinctively, you kicked her leg, causing her to stumble and look back at you in fury. "Ugh!! What do you think you're doing?!"
"Nothing~" you smiled innocently and cheerfully skipped back in the direction of your cabin.
"You just wait!!" she yelled at you in anger then swiftly turned away and kept on walking.
After a few minutes you arrived back in your cabin, already forgotten the encounter with the strange woman. Even though the day had been pretty uneventful you were still exhausted and laid down on your mattress, trying to fall asleep.
On the other side, the woman had not forgotten about you. "What a strange girl... she doesn't seem like she'd be much of a threat but... I should still watch out for her. She appears to be quite irrational and impulsive." she thought to herself while walking back to her base.

You were sleeping peacefully as you felt warmth on your skin. You fluttered open your eyes. Sunlight had found its way in through a small window near the ceiling. You laid on your mattress, contemplating on what to do. After a while you decided on sleeping more as you didn't have anything better to do.
You fell asleep rather quickly and napped for a few more hours before being awakened to your door opening. You jumped up and grabbed the knife from under your mattress in anticipation. The person who entered was no other than the woman you had seen last night. Now in all her glory, you could finally get a proper look at her, she was even more breathtaking than before. You loosened your grip on the knife and walked towards her, still somewhat confused. She gave you a sly smirk and two masked people stepped in after her, making you alert again and regaining a tight grip on the weapon.
"Ah... I wasn't expecting to find you here. But I suppose I can't say I'm surprised." she spoke in the same cold manner.
"What are you doing here...?" you were utterly confused.
"Sadly thats not something I can't reveal to you. Let's just say the Fatui had a plan with this place."
"I think I deserve to know as this is my home!" you were even more lost than before. What plan? Was she a part of the Fatui...?
She went quiet and pondered something for a moment before sending her subordinates out. "How about we make a deal, hm? If you agree to it, I'll tell you what I'm planning... not only with your so-called home but with the entirety of Inazuma~"
