"These guys are fast, too." You nodded in agreement with Inosuke. "If you drag your feet, we're going to go down!" Tanjiro replied, annoyed by the current situation. "I know that! Just give me a second to think!"

After a few seconds, Tanjiro started to run away from you and Inosuke, the slayers running after him. "Hey, why are you running around in circles like that?! Quit fooling around!"

Tanjiro skidded to a stop and bodied one of the slayers, throwing him up in the air. The slayer was thrown over a branch and hung there like a squirrel of sorts. "All right! You're all tangled up like I planned!"

You and Inosuke stared at him in confusion. "What's up with that?" He hit your shoulder to get your attention before pointing back at Tanjiro. "I wanna do that, too!" He then copied what Tanjiro did, succeeding in throwing the guy over the branch.

He started throwing his arms up and cheering, he pointed at both of you. "Did you see that?! I can do whatever Monjiro can do!" Tanjiro was busy fighting another slayer when he heard Inosuke. "My bad! I kind of missed it!"

Inosuke snapped his neck to look at you, daring you to say you didn't see it either. "Oh, yeah I saw it." Inosuke looked at you for a few seconds before grumbling to himself. You watched the two, trying to regain your balance with your leg until Inosuke pointed at one of the people he hung up. "Check it out! I tossed up more than Monjiro!"

Tanjiro nodded his head and turned to Inosuke, "Right! One more to go!" I duke immediately turned to the last slayer, storming up to him. "All right! You got it!" Tanjiro egged him on.

To say you felt less than useless in this moment would've been a lie. Here these two were, trying their best to help the slayers while you were kneeling on the ground trying to stop the bleeding from your leg.

"Just don't be rough!" As Inosuke walked towards the last slayer, his head snapped with the back of his head facing you all. You slap a hand over your mouth as you stare with wide eyes, how brutal of a way to die.

The same started to happen to all the other slayers, all of them hung around the tree with their heads facing the other way. "Dammit! Now they're all dead!" Tanjiro walked to the slayer that stood in front of you three.

He knelt when he got close enough to the body, standing up a few seconds later. "Let's go." Inosuke nodded next to you. "Right."

Tanjiro turned back to look at you, "Can you walk." You nod your head and wince slightly as you stand up, running behind the two as you run towards the demon Inosuke found. "This way! We're getting close!" Tanjiro nodded and kept running.

As you continued to run Tanjiro's eyes widened as he turned to look at you both. "(Y/n)! Inosuke!" Inosuke snapped back at him. "I detected that thing before you did! I'm going to hack its head off right off!"

Inosuke then leaped into the air, bracing his swords, and readied to cut the demon's head off. He was met with the weapon the demon had for hands, getting thrown back he landed next to you and Tanjiro.

"That thing... has no head!" You looked further up the demon's purple body to find veins on his neck, but no head. The demon brought his hand down, the force causing a crater of sorts. You all jump up, you let out another wince as you put pressure on your calf.

You landed next to the two once more, landing on your back instead of on your feet like the other two. The two looked at you with wide eyes before looking back at the demon. "That things got no weak spots! I can't slash something that's not there!"
