Sitting up, Bradley looked around his room rubbing the sleep from his eyes. A few clothes were littered here and there across the floor. Sighing the boy sat up and contemplated what he wanted to do.

With a groan he slipped off the bed and began scooping all the dirty clothes into one pile, throwing them with the others into the nearby wash-basket. He then scooped up said wash-basket  and began walking out of the door only to be stopped by a muffled ruckus in the room nearby. Dropping the clothes to the floor, Bradley walked over and knocked on the door. "Just a sec!" the voice on the other side responded. With a click and a swing out stepped Max revealing something that should not be called a room behind him. "Are you alright in there?"the taller  questioned moving his head to the side to get a glimpse of the surrounding scenery. "Yeah everything's fine, just can't find my board is all!" Max chuckled shoving some clothes to the side. "Yeah no wonder, I'm surprised you can even sleep in this stench forget finding anything." He spouted also beginning to move things about. "Well you've never had to share a room with two other guys, Bobby and PJ are brilliant and all but they have no control or routine when it comes to chores."
"Yeah I can see that.." he grumbled under his breathe. "Let me help you!" He spoke up
"And why would you do that?" Max quickly shot out
"Well why wouldn't I? We're friends now correct and friends help friends if I'm not wrong?" He proclaimed picking up a red shirt of the floor and throwing it into a nearby basket. "Yeah I guess that's true, you don't have to do this you know, it's a bit embarrassing having you go through my stuff."the shorter mouthed separating between the trios clothes, placing each item of clothing in a respected basket. "What scared I'll find something I won't like?" Bradley teased leaning towards the boy with a smirk. "Not at all, I'm pretty confident with everything I've got." The other shot back scooping his basket into his hands. "Might as well get this done before I head out." He said stepping into the hall. "See your doing the same." Max inferred eyeing the other isolated basket sat on the floor. "Well I have nothing better to do today since there's no classes so might as well catch up on some chores."
"You can join us at the skatepark later when we're done if you want?" Max chirped striding down the hall. "Is that an invitation I'm hearing?"Bradley gasped, a fake look of surprise dousing his face. "Don't act too shocked Upercrust, you don't have to come if you don't want to." "No I'll come with, like I said I've got nothing better to do." "Great! Let's get this over and done with then and we can go." The boy beamed scurrying down the hall, Bradley stumbling slowly after him. "Slow down would you, not like the washing machines are going anywhere!" Bradley proclaimed catching up to the quick boy.

The two entered the laundromat, baskets in hand prepared to get this over and done with. Bradley immediately set everything up sliding a quarter into the machine leaving it to rumble in peace. Turning the boy glanced at his follower in curiosity. "What are you doing?" He said watching the boy pat down his body. "Forgot to bring a quarter, wouldn't happen to have a spare would you?" He chuckled sheepishly. "Fine here." The older sighed tossing him two quarters. "Thanks!" The shorter spouted separating his lights and darks before repeating what the other had done. "Sooo.." the raven hair trailed off twirling with his fingers. "Do you do anything for fun besides skating?"
He trailed off "I paint.."he mumbled. "Hmm what did you say?"  "I said..I paint!" The taller  repeated looking away. "No way seriously, did not expect that what do you paint, do you draw too? What type of paint do you use. Do you prefer canvas or paper?" The other rambled looking at the fellow with stars in his eyes. "None of your business  what I draw, I told you what I do for fun, isn't that enough?" "No way!I gotta see what you do that's only fair!"he blurted grinning widely
"I don't know I draw things I like I guess." He stuttered crossing his arms. "That's so cute!" The other exclaimed continuing to grin greatly. "How is that cute?" "Because it's something you like and you seem fond of it, I don't know I find it when people are passionate about stuff cute." He finished getting off the shared bench beginning to stroll.  "We'll take it back!"the brunette disputed following the boy with his eyes. "And why would I?" He teased "because I'm not cute! He growled looking at the boy an annoyed looking forming throughout his face. "Sure you aren't Brad, you and your bunny slippers!" He giggled walking back to his designated spot just as a beep was heard from the two machines. "Look at that, now they just need drying!" Max said scooping the clothes back into the empty basket before trailing  over to the dryers. Bradley following shortly behind him slipping his clothes into the machine next to him. "And what about you, what do you do for fun?" "I guess I write stuff for fun." Max quickly let out locking eyes with the boy. "And what do you write?"
"I guess I write anything really that I find cool, stories, poems songs all sorts honestly!" He grinned "I guess you must really like our English assignment then?" Bradley commented "No,not really I'm stumped for ideas. I don't know what to write about that's got meaning to me. Usually when I write I just tell a story or something or a feeling but this time it's got to have meaning behind it that's a lot harder than just saying something and writing it down." The boy sighed plopping down next the quiet boy.
"Yeah I guess you could say that. Atleast you know you can write something, I've got no idea what to do!

"We'll just think about a memory you have and go from there, preferably a happy one like I'm probably just gonna write about me and my Dads road trip!" He gleamed rethinking of the memory
"Yeah but yours is cool, I can't think of anything like that." He sighed glancing down towards the floor
"Write about your love for art, that's something your fond of right? Sure enough you can do something with that."  "Yeah that sounds like a good idea, thanks Max. You can help me with it at our next tutor session." He suggested, the duos conversation cut off from another round of beeping. "Looks like that's finally done!" Max quickly let out hopping from his seat running to the machine. Swinging the doors open, the two pulled their clothes out plopping them onto the top of the dryers. "Watch where you put those would you, there gonna get mixed up!"Bradley shot out moving his pile away from the boys.
The two began folding there individual piles placing the folded items back into the basket . "I just need to head to the dorm to get my skateboard, you still coming with?" Max questioned looking slightly hopeful at the following. "Yeah I am just got to grab my rollerblades first." He responded scooping the now full basket into his arms. "Great!Sounds good, PJs just messaged me saying they're still at the park waiting for me so we better hurry!" Max yelled  our walking out the doors hurriedly shoving his phone into his jeans  pocket. "Yeah yeah I'm coming!" He said trialling after the distant figure.
