Chapter 9

BOOM!

Lightning lights up the dark skies and the sound of rumbling thunder at the late night kept most awake. And one of them was Jin Kazama.

Haven been not able to sleep, the storm outside was doing no help at luring him back to his slumber. But it was not only the rain that kept him awake, it was also the nightmares.

For almost his entire life, Jin has had nightmares and they were all the same.

Devil Jin.

The devil gene in him always gave him trouble and it was hard to keep it at bay. Years back Jin thought he had a better control on it but now he doesn't and it's because of one particular person.

Lili.

Out of all the other times he's had problems with his Devil, Lili has brought more rouse to it. At first he didn't have a clue as to why, but after some thinking he might have a solution. His devil might also want Lili.

He thought it was bizarre, but he realized that it actually wasn't. Not only have he been having nightmares about Devil Jin but now Lili was in them. He doesn't know what to do or what to think, but he knows he can't stand having these nightmares especially with Lili in them.

Groaning, Jin tosses his pillow in frustration. He's getting sick and tired of this. Sitting up, Jin looks at his clock on his nightstands seeing it saying 12:01 a.m.

Jin sighs and gets out of bed, leaving his room.

"Gotta find something to tire myself out." He thought as he walks down the hall trying to think of something.

Then an idea came to mind.

-20 minutes later-

Jin huffs and puffs as he throw punches at his punching bag. If there was something that could tire him out or get stuff off his mind it was his gym.

So far he has practice is martial arts and fighting skills and also some mediation to clear his mind.

Now he's at his punching bag imaging that it was Kazaya or Heihachi. It fuels his determination and anger to end the devil gene but it wasn't enough.

Jin stops and catches his breath as he grabs his towel off the bench and sits down wiping off the sweat.

"This is bull." Jin muttered looking at the floor once again in his thoughts.

He was still doesn't feel the need to go to sleep and is once again out of options. Then an image of Lili came to him out of nowhere.

"The hell.." Jin said before another image came making him growl as he felt himself harden.

Throwing his towel, Jin stands and punches a nearby wall. Breathing heavily, he tries to calm himself by taking slow deep breaths.

Once calm, he sighs thinking of what to do now.

"Maybe I can head over to Lili. No she's likely asleep."

Weighing the pros and cons of staying or going, Jin decided on what he's gonna do. Leaving the gym, Jin heads back into his room and goes inside his closet to find something to wear.

-At the Sakura Five Star Hotel-

Jin sighs as he parks in front of the hotel Lili's staying at thinking of what he's going to do. His whole drive here he still couldn't figure out what he was going to do once he was in, but nothing came up.

Getting out, Jin looks up at the floor Lili's room was on. From what he recall Lili told him, she was on the fifth floor. Now he was thinking of how to get in from here.

His first option was going inside to the front desk and asked but then he would bring suspension to himself and Lili as they still was keeping their relationship low-key. His second option was using his wings to fly up there but then he could be caught by someone nearby.

These were both risky options but he has to choose one.

Looking around to check his surroundings, Jin saw no one around him and a few cars passed by but nothing else due to the storm.

"Guess I have one option."

Moving over to a darker area, Jin summons his wings and flies up the building to Lili.

It was long before head made it and carefully lands onto the balcony to Lili's room. From the glass window, the lights were off and Jin could see a silhouette in the bed.

Reaching to grab the handle, Jin sighs and shakes his head as the doors were unlocked. He know Lili should at least know better about leaving things unlocked by now, but saving that for a later discussion Jin walks inside and quietly closes and locks the door behind.

Jin looks directly at Lili's sleeping figure and walks towards the bed feeling a bit excited.

Once on the other side of the bed, Jin could finally see Lili's face making him smile. Just by standing here he feels at ease with her presence and pushes back all cons about this and just relax.

Quietly taking off his wet coat, pants and shoes Jin carefully slides under the cover trying not to disturb his girlfriend.

Seeing Lili stir around Jin froze trying not make any movement. Once Lili stills, Jin tries to get comfortable as carefully as possible and when does he sighs and gently wraps his arm around Lili and takes her scent letting it sooth him.

When he thought everything was alright he was wrong. Jin opens his eyes and looks down at Lili stiring again.

Lili moans as she feels something hard against her and around her. Turning around, Lili whines at the feeling and shivering.

Slowly blinking, Lili opens her eyes trying to adjust to the darkness and the figure in front of her.

"J-Jin...?" Lili mumbled, reaching up to see if she was dreaming.

Jin carefully grabs her hand and kisses her head knowing she's still asleep.

"Shh.. go back to sleep." He whispered, gently stroking her hair.

"..You're..cold..."

Pulling up the cover putting some between them so she wouldn't wake up from his skin.

"There. Night Lil."

"..Night..Jin.."

With that Lili was completely back in dreamland and Jin sighs before kissing her head again and going to sleep himself.
