I'm writing so much today! I have so many ideas 😆🩷💌The following morning, I needed a distraction, and Pansy was just the right person to go to
I found her in the common room, looking flawless as always. Her dark hair was styled perfectly, and she was effortlessly flipping through a magazine.
"Hey, Pans," I greeted her, plopping down on the couch beside her.
"Morning, love," she said, glancing up. "You look like you could use a pick-me-up. Spill."
I sighed, recounting the latest drama with Draco. As I spoke, Pansy's expression shifted from mild interest to full-on indignation.
"That bastard," she muttered. "Why do you even let him get under your skin?"
"It's not like I want to," I replied, frustrated. "It's just... he's so infuriating and confusing."
"He's a Malfoy," Pansy said with a dismissive wave. "They thrive on chaos and drama. What you need is to show him you won't be his plaything."
"How?" I asked, genuinely curious.
Pansy's eyes gleamed with mischief. "By living your best life and making him see what he's missing. Come on, let's make today interesting."
I couldn't help but smile. Pansy always had a way of turning the tables. Together, we walked to the Great Hall for breakfast, our heads held high. I noticed Draco watching us from our usual spot, but I ignored him, focusing instead on Pansy's animated conversation.
Throughout the day, Pansy made sure to keep me busy. We laughed and chatted in classes, and during breaks, we plotted minor pranks and gossiped about everyone else. It was exactly what I needed to distract myself from Draco's weird behavior.
After our last class, we headed to the Slytherin common room, where a group of students was gathered, talking animatedly. Among them was Blaise, who waved us over.
"What's the latest?" Pansy asked, sliding into a seat.
"Big party in the Room of Requirement tonight," Blaise said, grinning. "Everyone's going to be there."
"Sounds perfect," Pansy declared, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "What do you say, Naomi?"
I hesitated, I didn't want a repeat of last week, but the idea of a party sounded like a perfect escape. "I'm in."
That evening, Pansy and I got ready in our dorm. She lent me one of her stunning dresses, which was a bit more revealing than I was used to. It was a deep green, hugging my curves and showing just enough skin to be daring. As we walked to the Room of Requirement, I felt a mix of anticipation and nervousness.
The room was already buzzing with music and laughter when we arrived. Students were dancing, drinking, and generally having a good time. Pansy immediately dragged me to the dance floor, and we lost ourselves in the music. It felt good to let go, even if just for a while.
(Think TVD Damian and Elena lol)But, of course, nothing stays peaceful for long at Hogwarts. As we danced, I noticed Draco across the room, watching me with a dark expression. His eyes traveled over my outfit, and I could see the flash of anger in his eyes. He pushed through the crowd, heading straight for us.
"What the hell are you wearing?" Draco demanded, his voice low but furious.
I crossed my arms, not backing down. "It's a dress, Draco. Get over it."
"You're attracting attention," he hissed, his eyes narrowing. "Unwanted attention."
"Maybe that's the point," Pansy interjected, stepping between us. "She's having fun. Why do you care?"
