I waited in the lobby of the airport where Dom told me to meet him and the rest of Judgement Day. I was playing on my phone when someone sat next to me. I looked up to see it was Carlito.
"Hello puta, you mind me sitting here?" He asked with a smile
"You really going to keep calling me that?" I asked laughed
"It fits. It was that or Loca." He shrugged
"Hmm Loca. Maybe. Though you could just go with phoenix." I shrugged
"Why Phoenix?" Someone else said as they sat next to me on the other side. I turned to see it was JD.
I smiled "I was a bit of a spitfire during my training with Booker and Ember as she was known in WWE. I was always ready for a challenge and gave more than one hundred percent. And Ember took me more under her wing than anyone so she wanted to give me something that would have some meaning behind it. So where there is a Phoenix there is an Ember. Well that is how she put it. And when Booker learned about my nickname it stuck."
JD smiled and nodded. Carlito left to get some snacks at the gift shop. JD and I talked while we waited.
"So Dom tell you his idea?" I asked
JD nodded "Yeah, I'm with it. You seem like a good person so I don't mind."
"Thanks. I mean I'm known for being the Girl Next Door for a reason." I joked
JD laughed a bit when I felt someone sit next to me. I turned to see it was Dom.
"Hey Halcón de fuego (firehawk). How are you doing?" Dom smiled at me.
I looked at JD and he shrugged, "Don't look at me. I may know some French but Spanish is not my thing."
Damian must have walked up behind us with Finn cause the next thing I heard was them laughing.
"He called you Firehawk." Damian smiled
"Yeah. I don't know Spanish. I took art classes in high school to get out of that. And I'm doing good. How about you guys?"
"I'm not looking forward to this nine hour flight." Damian said
"I can only imagine, don't you have press like right after we get off the plane?" I asked
Finn perked up from texting someone "Damo and I do."
"That's rough." Dom said, putting his arm on the back of my chair.
"Mhm." Finn hummed, going back to his phone.
The trip went well. I roomed with Damian and Dom. They both were really sweet about it. Damian kept his title with the help of CM Punk but still kept the title. Dom and I also got to get to know each other more. I bonded with Finn over comics and anime as well. He is a pretty cool guy.
