Shubman Gill was a man of formidable presence and unwavering focus as the CEO of Innovatech Solutions. Under his leadership, the company thrived, known for its cutting-edge innovations and strategic vision. In the boardroom, Shubman commanded respect with his sharp mind and no-nonsense approach to business.

However, there was a side to Shubman that few outside his personal circle knew—a tender and loving husband to Ishan Kishan. Ishan, with his vibrant spirit and boundless affection, brought out a softer side in Shubman that melted the ice of his corporate persona.

One restless night, unable to find peace in their serene home, Ishan decided to surprise Shubman at the office. He slipped into a comfortable tracksuit and quietly made his way to the bustling headquarters of Innovatech. The security guards nodded respectfully as he passed, knowing him well.

As Ishan approached the imposing door of the boardroom, where Shubman was engrossed in a critical meeting with his senior executives, he hesitated for a moment. The thought of interrupting Shubman's professional space made him pause, but the need to be near his husband overrode any apprehension.

With a determined breath, Ishan pushed open the door and stepped inside. The room fell silent as all eyes turned towards him, the executives startled by this unexpected intrusion. Shubman, seated at the head of the table with a stack of papers before him, looked up sharply, his brows furrowing slightly in surprise.

"Ishan?" Shubman's voice was a mixture of concern and curiosity.

"I couldn't sleep," Ishan confessed softly, his eyes meeting Shubman's with a mixture of apology and longing.

The executives exchanged uneasy glances, bracing themselves for Shubman's reaction. They knew well his reputation for strict professionalism and undivided focus during meetings—any disruption was typically met with sternness.

To their surprise, Shubman did not scold or dismiss Ishan. Instead, he did something that left everyone in the room speechless. Without standing up or breaking eye contact with Ishan, Shubman silently pulled back his chair from the table and opened his arms wide.

Ishan's heart swelled with warmth and relief as he understood Shubman's silent invitation. With a grateful smile, he walked over to Shubman, who adjusted his position in the chair to make space for Ishan to settle comfortably in his lap. The tension in the room slowly dissipated as they witnessed Shubman, the epitome of corporate authority, embracing his husband with tenderness and care.

Shubman wrapped his arms around Ishan, holding him close as Ishan leaned into his chest, feeling the steady rhythm of Shubman's heartbeat. The room was filled with a newfound tranquility, the air thick with a sense of intimacy that contrasted sharply with the boardroom's usual intensity.

The executives exchanged glances, their initial surprise giving way to quiet understanding and respect. They realized that behind Shubman's stern exterior lay a man who cherished his loved ones deeply, a leader who could balance strength with compassion.

As Ishan nestled against Shubman, the comforting presence of his husband eased his restlessness. The soft murmur of Shubman's voice, reassuring and calming, lulled Ishan into a peaceful slumber.

Shubman looked around the room, meeting the gaze of each executive with a serene expression. "Let's wrap this up for tonight," he said gently, his voice carrying a warmth that resonated with everyone present.

The executives nodded in agreement, their admiration for Shubman deepening as they silently filed out of the boardroom, leaving the couple in their quiet sanctuary. In that moment, they understood that true strength lay not only in business acumen but also in the ability to nurture and protect what mattered most—love and family.
