The sound of overpouring tea in a cup could be heard in the middle of the dining area as even the maids of House Shinawa was shocked with the sudden announcement.
“My my, well I've never expected that from nii-san at all..”

A pair of hands were slammed at the table when Akio's mother stood up, her head hanging low making it unable to see her face or even read her expression as she and Akio's father is yet to voice out their opinion.
[Name] was standing in front of the table, facing her lover's relatives. She knew she wasn't going to be accepted just like that, but knowing that Akio was right beside her all this time and intertwining their hands tight somehow helped calm her nerves down even if just a little bit.
“Shinawa Shayu, Shinawa Misu, Shinawa Keito, Shinawa Toko and Shinawa Shihiro,” The father, still in his chair with his hands covering his face, called out.
The siblings could only freeze in their chairs, unable to move as they sensed the cold tone of their father and hostility of their mother.
“How dare any of you five insult your brother's wife!” Akio's mother, Shizu, screamed towards the five who had spoken ill of [Name] starting from when she arrived until now.
[Name] peaked out of Akio's back, just in time as she heard Akio chuckling to himself which [Name] pinched him in the back for, earning a yelp from the male.
Shizu, Akio's mother, turned her attention towards the two and showed off a smile before approaching, “You look adorable sweetheart! No wonder Akio had taken a liking to you!”
The others could only stare as they saw the lady of the house welcoming the first born's wife. Snatching her away from Akio before clasping both of her hands.
“Please don't mind those pests dear, they're simply undisciplined and rude.” And one can see the irk mark in her forehead.
“Mou, mother!”
“Zip it, Misu!”
Turning her head towards her oldest, Shizu smiled before ushering them to retire to Akio's bed. “Go on now, I'm sure you're tired. I'll just have a quick chat with them here!”
[Name] nodded as she followed Akio who was leading her towards his room, muttering a small 'thankyou' before disappearing quickly into the shadows.
As soon as the two were gone, the atmostphere almost immediately dropped.
