In Moscow, Russia, the city was alive with the vibrant energy of the night.
The streets were bustling with activity, a blend of locals and tourists enjoying the myriad of cafes, shops, and landmarks illuminated by the warm glow of street lamps and neon signs.
The air was filled with the sounds of laughter, conversations, and the occasional honk of a car navigating the busy roads.
Yelena walked confidently through the crowded streets, effortlessly blending in yet standing out with her striking presence.
She wore a faded green loose long-sleeve top, unbuttoned to reveal a plain white tank top underneath, her blond hair pulled back into a sleek ponytail.
Yelena glanced back discreetly, her senses felt the presence of a stalker. She walked steadily and got an opportunity to disappear into the crowd, swiftly spun around, grabbed the shadowy figure hiding in the dark corner of the street, and pinned it against the wall, a knife pressed to its throat.
"Kto tee? Pochemu ty za mnoy sledish?" Yelena demanded, her voice cold and lethal with her Russian accent.
Kate's dark hair fell loosely around her shoulders, framing her face as she gasped, and Yelena's eyes widened in shock as she recognized the familiar face. "Kate Bishop?!"
Kate, struggling to catch her breath, managed a nervous smile. "God, you're so sexy when you speak Russian- But I don't know what you said."
Yelena released her grip slightly, but the knife remained poised. "What are you doing here, Kate?"
Kate's smile widened nervously because Yelena is so close to her face, despite the precarious situation.
"Can we talk without a knife in my throat?"
Yelena scoffed, though her expression softened withdrawing her knife.
"Whew," Kate adjusted her purple shirt, trying to smooth out the wrinkles that had formed during her hurried pursuit.
"How about we talk over a drink?," she said, chuckling nervously, her voice slightly breathless as she straightened her dark coat.
"You're here to kill me, Kate bishop? " Yelena looked at Kate in a very serious and bold tone.
"What? No.. that's not-"
"Okay." Yelena cut through Kate's sentence and glanced at her watch, started walking briskly.
"Where are you going?" Kate hurried to keep up with her.
"To grab a drink."
-
End.
Kate: Do you believe in love at first sight?
Yelena: No.
Kate: Should I walk by again?
