The sun was just beginning to set over Sunny Bay, casting a warm golden glow across the town. Angel and Chrissy walked side by side through the bustling streets, their eyes constantly scanning for any sign of their missing friend, April. The two girls were determined to find her, no matter how long it took.

April, another princess from a distant kingdom, had been separated from them when they first arrived on this planet. The memory of that day was still fresh in Angel's mind, the chaos and confusion as they were attacked by Praxina's minions. Since then, she and Chrissy had been tirelessly searching for her.

"Where should we check next?" Chrissy asked, her voice filled with both determination and a hint of fatigue.

Angel thought for a moment, then pointed towards an old, abandoned building on the outskirts of town. "I heard someone mention seeing a girl who matches April's description near that building. It's worth a shot."

The two friends made their way to the outskirts of town, the buildings growing older and more decrepit as they went. The abandoned building loomed ahead of them, its windows broken and walls covered in graffiti. Angel felt a shiver run down her spine as they approached.

"Stay close," Angel whispered, her eyes darting around for any signs of danger.

Chrissy nodded, her hand resting on the hilt of her sword saber. "I'm ready."

As they entered the building, the air grew colder, and the darkness seemed to close in around them. Angel activated her invisibility magic, just in case, while Chrissy kept her fire magic at the ready, illuminating their path with a soft, warm glow.

They moved through the building silently, their senses on high alert. Every creak of the floorboards and rustle of the wind made their hearts race. They checked each room methodically, calling out softly for April.

"April? Are you here?" Angel called, her voice barely above a whisper.

There was no response. The building seemed empty, but they pressed on, unwilling to give up hope.

As they entered what appeared to be an old storage room, Chrissy's fire magic revealed something unusual. On the dusty floor were faint footprints, too small to belong to any adult.

"Angel, look!" Chrissy pointed to the footprints, her eyes widening with hope.

Angel's heart skipped a beat. "Those could be April's. Let's follow them."

They followed the footprints through a maze of hallways and rooms, their anticipation growing with each step. The footprints led them to a small, hidden room at the back of the building. The door was slightly ajar, and Angel pushed it open cautiously.

Inside, huddled in a corner, was a young girl with blue hair tied in voluminous pigtails and large blue eyes. She wore a bright yellow shirt, a blue skirt, and black leggings, with yellow shoes completing her outfit. Her clothes were dirty, and she looked scared and exhausted. But despite her disheveled appearance, Angel recognized her immediately.

"April!" Angel cried, rushing to her friend's side.

April looked up, her eyes filling with tears. "Angel? Chrissy? Is it really you?"

"It's us," Chrissy said softly, kneeling beside her. "We've been looking everywhere for you."

April threw her arms around Angel, sobbing with relief. "I was so scared. I thought I'd never see you again."

Angel hugged her tightly. "You're safe now. We're here, and we're not going anywhere."

Chrissy gently patted April's back. "We need to get out of here. This place isn't safe."

Angel nodded and helped April to her feet. They moved quickly and quietly, retracing their steps through the building. Angel kept her invisibility magic activated, and Chrissy's fire magic illuminated their path.

As they exited the building, the sky was darkening, and the first stars were beginning to appear. Angel felt a sense of relief wash over her. They had found April, and they were together again.

"Let's get back to our hideout," Angel said, glancing around to ensure they weren't being followed.

Chrissy nodded in agreement. "We'll be safer there."

They made their way through the streets of Sunny Bay, staying in the shadows to avoid attracting attention. April clung to Angel's hand, her fear slowly giving way to a sense of safety and comfort.

Back at their hideout, a small, well-hidden apartment on the edge of town, Angel and Chrissy tended to April's wounds and gave her something to eat. The three friends sat together, sharing their experiences and catching up on everything that had happened since they were separated.

"I was so worried about you," Angel said, her voice filled with emotion. "I'm just glad you're okay."

April smiled weakly. "I knew you'd come for me. I never lost hope."

Chrissy squeezed April's hand. "We'll always be there for each other. No matter what."

As the night went on, the three friends made plans for their next steps. They knew they couldn't stay hidden forever, and that eventually, they would have to reveal themselves to the LoliRock team. But for now, they were content to be together, safe and sound.

Angel looked at her friends, her heart swelling with gratitude and determination. They had come so far and faced so many challenges, but together, they could overcome anything. And with April back by their side, they were stronger than ever.

As they settled in for the night, Angel made a silent vow to protect her friends and continue their fight against the darkness. She knew that with Chrissy and April by her side, they could face whatever challenges lay ahead.

And somewhere in the distance, the LoliRock team continued their search, unaware that their mysterious allies had found each other and were ready to join the fight when the time was right.
