Brie anxiously follows the group further inside. She makes sure to stay closely by Teresa's and Minho's side. The lather one because her and the dark don't go that well together. Brings back to many unwanted memories.

Their eyes watch as they come across empty cups. Suddenly, Minho stops, making her bump into him. She quietly apologized when she notices the dirty looks he's sending her. He only responds by shining the only flashlight through a window. She's not tall enough to look through the drapes, but by the way his eyes relax she can tell it's something good.

He looks at her for a minuscule second, before addressing the group. 'Come on, open up.' They quickly follow his instructions. No questions asked. Brie knew that if she had looked through that window, someone else would double check. They didn't trust her, yet. But she also didn't know how to make them trust her.

Everyone quickly entered the room. Brie made sure to hold a little space between her and everyone else as they searched through the room. Heavy jealousy filled her chest. Maybe she shouldn't have come with them. If her sister escaped that would have been enough for her. An extra light was turned on.

Brie blew the dust of one of the nearby books. It had a red cover, but looked tinier then the other books. She turned the pages quickly, not really stopping to read them closely. To others it might have looked like a normal book, but Brie put in her pocket, knowing by the handwriting it was a dairy of some kinds and therefor really important.

'It looks like someone lived here.' Minho states from the other side of the room, catching her attention. No shit, Sherlock! She wants to make a sarcastic remark, but decides not too. She wants these people to like her.

Then Newt asks a question that makes her visibly stop in her tracks. 'Then where are they now?' A silent breath escapes her mouth. If Brie was a normal teenage daughter that had a dairy, would she just abandon it all of a sudden? No. Maybe, the people were out for a little. Or somewhere further in the building. Or maybe they needed to run from something. Something dangerous. Her own thoughts made her shiver.

'Let's pack some of this stuff up. Take anything you might need.' Thomas states putting on a basic jacket. She thanked whoever gave her a flashlight, quickly scanning the room better. She saw Teresa inspecting a hammer.

'We'll split up,' The words make her face snap towards his. Hadn't they learned anything from the movies. Never. Split- oh, right they don't remember any movies. Her bad. 'Meet back here.' Thomas is then also handed a flashlight by Newt. Anyone else ship them? Probably not. 'Let's go!'

The group splits up. Brie follows behind, not noticing Teresa staying back in the room. When the big group needs to split into smaller once's, she's not sure what to do. It's only when Thomas nudges his head that she follows them. Thomas, Minho and Brie. Just the three of them. At first there's awkward silence, but the more the walk the smoother the conversations roll. With Thomas at least. Minho's still suspicious of her.

They arrive in a big room. There's tents and stuff all splattered across. When she noticed some clothes that might fit her, she quickly stuffed them in a nearby rug shack. She sees the other duo have a deep conversation of some sort and decides to distance herself a little. She understood that they didn't trust her that much. She grabs some containers which seem to contain some food. She also grabs spare clothes for the others. Who knew how long they would go without anything?

'What are we looking for again?' She asks when they fall silent. She turns around with her flashlight, meeting there eyes.

'Signs of life, Survivors, people, anyone who can help us.' Thomas answers her question. Brie doesn't need to look at Minho to know that his rolling his eyes. Bet her would have asked the exact same question. 'Does he count?'

Minho stands there frozen. His flashlights shines in the direction of a corpse, making her stomach turn. Her throat groans as she tries to keep down her food. When they make a move to inspect the corpse closer, Brie tries to pull the closest person (which happens to be Minho) back. Her arms wrap around his bicep, but he only glares at her before pulling away.

The duo inspects him closely and Brie expected him to jump awake at any given moment. Even she can see that he has a plastic back over his head, meaning he was murdered or something. With a pounding heart and trembling hands she steps forwards, ignoring her brain when it says to step back. Her eyes fall on a lamp. It's connected to a wire which must be plucked in here somewhere.

On accident both her and Minho say at the same time: 'They had power.' They both glanced at each other. When the eye-contact gets to intense she looks down, fidgeting with a button on her shirt. Thomas shines at the power up graters. Maybe she could jump start them again? Then finally all those years in the lap could be used for something.

The trio followed the wires ending up at some old door that you could find in the fast food restaurants. When Thomas and Minho pushed them open, Brie immediately shined her light. Her heart was pounding heavily in her chest. If she died like this, that would be minus aura. The other duo ignores her heavy breathing. How they stayed so calm she didn't know.

They entered the old rooms. All the wires leaded to this room, informing her how a high voltage  everything could have. If one thing was placed wrong, this hole place could explode. The further they walked into the room, the more her theory was proven to be correct.

'Don't touch anything.' She whispers to the two other members. Her flashlight follows the 'high voltage' signs. Stopping at some sort of cage. The moment she saw it, she decided that she would stay as far away as she could. Thomas however approached the cage a little to fast for her liking. From the light that his flashlight shone she could see all the the doles and toys. This place was really starting to freak her out.

'This looks promising.' Minho stated all of a sudden. Brie twisted her body around and walked towards him. She quickly approached, not trusting him with the electrical battery. She quickly flicks a few switches.

'Hey, Brie. Wait!' Thomas exclaimed, straddling her. In her fright she accidentally flicked on the last switch, making electricity flood the place. All the lights turned, making her eyes squint. Minho smiles triumphant, clearly not noticing that anything was wrong. She isn't completely alarmed, yet. Only glaring around the room. 'Thomas, watch out!'

Her head snaps towards Thomas' direction. Behind him was the cage of her nightmares. In there she noticed a quickly approaching figure. 'Get back!' She's grabbed by the back of her ruck sack. She stares in shock at the thing in front of her. Yes, a thing thing because it's monster like. Her eyes are taken out, leaving black empty holes which isn't possible to the normal human body. The monsters has blonde fuzzy hair, reminding her off her own.

A small scream leaves her mouth. 'Her eyes!'
