The moment that Winston is done, she tightly wraps some bandages around her own wrist. She tries to hide her pain, but her body still shakes as she bites down on the zipper of her jacket. Surprisingly no sounds leave her tightly pressed lips. Then, when she's finally done she pulls her sleeve over her wrist, covering the bandages. Nobody can now about this.

Finally when everyone is done packing they leave, climbing over some rocks to exit their hiding place. Brie anxiously glances around. Did the cranks really leave or were they hiding and waiting for them to come out? At the top of the rocks you would've expected a beautiful view, but Brie frowns when she sees the ruined buildings. There are cars abandonment, and each Tower seemed to barely hold on. What happened here? Did it look like that all around the globe?

'Brie, what happened?' Thomas asked, eagerly. He places his hands on her shoulders, tearing her eyes from the horrendous view. A few members of the group glance at her, also really interested in the answer. Yet, they watch as Brie stammers. 'I-I don't know. I didn't think it would be like this.'

Then Minho steps forward. 'What do you know about the cranks?' He asks suspiciously. His arms cross over his chest, flexing his biceps, but Brie doesn't flatter. Her eyes fall down as all the attention falls on her.

'How am I supposed to know? I know as much as you guys.' That makes him groan. His head lightly falls back as he tries to compose himself. Now that Brie thought about it, he had been nicer to her then before. Maybe it had something to do with this morning? The thought still made her blush.

'Great, you know I thought with you being with WICKED that you would know something, but I guess that we're stuck with you!' He exclaims, pointing his finger accusingly. Brie's eyes widen as her chest tightens. She walks forward a few steps, coming face-to-face with him. Her eyes squint as her jaw tightens. She looks up at him, seeing the curiousity and suspicion in them.

'I was with WICKED. Not anymore and you know that! Besides if I'm that much of a burden I should just go back. Maybe I'll help them with catching you. I'll sure enjoy torturing you.' She grunts out, pressing her finger threateningly against his chest with each words she speaks. She hadn't even noticed the group rolling their eyes and walking away, putting their stuff down a little farther away. They had gotten pretty used to their bickering.

'Yeah, you go do that because we certainly don't need you here! The only reason why you are here is because of your sister!' He spoke more quietly and threatening now. His head bends down a little as he grabs her wrist to make sure he has her attention. Her heart aches at the thought. Was it through? Would they have abandonment her if she wasn't Teresa's sister? She pushes the tears back, grinding her teeth.

'Maybe you don't need me, but Winston does. Look at him his dying! And scaring his only hope away isn't okay!' She says pointing at the said boy. He was lying on his back, coughing a little bit as he was talking to Fry. Minho's eyes widen when he realizes her point. Of course, he had seen her take of him. He just simply choose to ignore it. For him his friends were way more important then some pretty girl that used to work for their enemy.

'Fine, but you only stay to take care of him. No other reason.' He stated firmly, making eye-contact again with her. He notices the little bit of grey in them. Huh, he hadn't noticed before.

Brie holds out her hand and when Minho's warmer and bigger hand wraps around hers she ignores the butterflies flying in her stomach. Only for Winston. She reminds herself.

'Deal, just for Winston.'

'Just for Winston.'

-

The group had started walking as soon as the duo finished fighting. They promenaded through the abandonment streets as they hoped to find the mountains soon. The weater had picked up and it was now the opposed of last night. It was hot. Burning hot. With no wind in sight. The warmth made all their skins ache and itch, but they attempted not to scratch.

They had also noticed that they had limited food and water. Which made Minho joke that they shouldn't give Brie anything. Her feet and limps ache with every step that they take and the sun doesn't make it better. Her eyes squint as she stares at the buildings they pass by. She can see clothes and furniture still standing in them, but it's a real surprise how it's still upright.

She hears someone talking behind her, but doesn't pay them any attention as she stares at her sister.

'Everything okay? With WICKED and all I mean?' She whispered. Her sister stares at her, pondering for a little. Then she sights, pressing a worried hand against her forehead. She wraps a arm around her younger sisters shoulder, pulling her close.

'Yeah, just a big surprise. I never expected me to work with them, but now it all makes sense, you know?' Brie nods in surprised. She had to admit that her sister had changed a lot in the maze. Normally, she would be more outgoing, but now she seemed to keep quiet and almost never stated her opinion. 'Can I ask you something? Do you think that WICKED's wrong? They're trying to save the world. Isn't that a good thing?'

Brie processes her words. She isn't surprised her sister asked her that, yet they talked a little quieter, hoping the other wouldn't pick up on it.

'I suppose not. I think it's for a good cause, you know? But it's just done wrong. I mean children being put into a maze. I see what they were trying to do, but it wasn't the best solution. Not talking about the facts that they literally tortured countless of children. All that pain for saving the world.' She muttered the last bit to herself. She watched as Teresa started thinking again. This made her unwrap her arm and backing off a little giving her space.
