Chapter 46 - Danzou 04.

There was a sound of dripping from a crack in the ceiling. Danzou had stopped breathing as the corridor in front of him seemed to enter a heavy atmosphere.

"That..." He murmured, then something happened at that moment—a kunai flew towards him, while he pulled one of his own from his pocket and blocked the attack.

He quickly got up as the kunai fell to the floor, making the sound of metal resonate through the room. Everything seemed silent again, while Danzou looked into the darkness of the corridor, not knowing where his enemy was.

"Who's there...?" was the only thing Danzou managed to say, before two red spheres emerged from the darkness.

"A pair of Sharingan?!" Danzou couldn't help but murmur, dazed by the sight of the 3-tomoe Sharingan shining there.

"I usually wear my mask..." A female voice emerged as Akame stepped out of the darkness, walking towards Danzou.

What surprised him, was when she revealed herself to be just a child in the end. "Who are you?" He couldn't help but ask, but Akame continued her words, walking into the room with dangerous eyes. "But to you, the one responsible for the near destruction of the Uchiha clan and for the death of my mother... I am Akame Uchiha and I want you to see an Uchiha smiling as you die," she said.

Danzou narrowed his only eye at this, still wondering what was happening there, but he changed his posture as soon as he saw Akame begin to make hand seals quickly, using a fire-style jutsu without warning. Danzou quickly made a series of seals too, launching a wind jutsu to combat this enemy.

The fire expanded from Akame's mouth, crashing through the narrow corridor and advancing into the room where Danzou was. Meanwhile, Danzou's wind also exploded, heading towards the fire creating a vortex similar to the enemy's jutsu.

The explosion, as soon as both elements touched, quickly made the place tremble while Akame continued spitting fire and Danzou launching his wind without needing to spit.

It seemed a clash between the jutsus as one tried to overpower the other, but something was happening in that small place and Danzou was the most affected. "I can't stay here for long," he quickly realized that, as he was in a closed room and the only exit was a corridor with flames, the oxygen was being consumed by Akame's burning flames, even weakening his jutsu.

It wasn't much longer before the oxygen began to run out, continuing to be consumed by the fire, the strength of Danzou's jutsu soon began to diminish. Then, the explosion began to invade the place and consume everything in the room as Akame did not stop gushing her flames and watching the place being devastated as soon as the resistance stopped.

The entire room turned into flames, destroying everything. But the fire soon began to lose strength as well due to the lack of oxygen in the place, though there were still some flaming arrows burning here and there. However, Akame saw no sign of Danzou there and looked up where Danzou was standing upside down with part of his arm burned.

He quickly launched an attack against her, throwing kunais, which Akame quickly caught with her weapon and deflected all the projectiles he threw. He quickly started to walk on the ceiling and advanced against her, passing through the flames on the floor. "I was looking for a pair of Sharingan and intended to do so when I returned to the land of fire, but I was lucky they came faster than I could think," he said as he advanced against her.

He jumped from the ceiling towards her and they quickly began to exchange blows as Akame used her blood to anticipate all of Danzou's attacks. They exchanged punches and kicks against each other with Danzou trying to make an opening in her.
