On the green marble floors, Mina's heels clicked, echoing through the stone halls. There were few people around, some chatting amongst themselves and others going about their business.

If Mina was being honest she would have expected fewer people to be in the building, seeing as this was some emergency meeting that was supposed to "stay secret". The sound of a light bell could be heard through the halls, indicating the time, and also letting Mina know she was late.

Keeping her swift but not urgent pace she proceeded down the many halls until she came to the double doors that were described in her enchanted invitation. With a twitch of her finger, they blew open from the wave of her magic.

Walking in she immediately sensed the overwhelming power that flowed from everyone who sat around the massive round table.

'They aren't kidding about this' Mina thought to herself. She checked over her shoulder in the upper right-hand corner of the room, making out the silhouette of someone, the glow of a red eye caught her attention. She could feel the sickening raw power but no life force, which made her skin crawl.

Turning her attention back to the round table she studied everyone sitting there

Turning her attention back to the round table she studied everyone sitting there. They all appeared to be different species, it seems whoever called this meeting made it intentional. All heads were turned to her due to her late and dramatic arrival.

"Oh don't stop for me. By all means, continue." She said flashing a gorgeous smile while making her way over to a table that held refreshments, and wine. She sat on top of the table facing the others, pouring herself a large glass.

The glass met her lips when she realized she still had all their attention so she moved them along with a dismissive wave of her hand. Mina studied the wine, it being the best she had in a while. 'These "government" people go all out' she thought with another large gulp.

A man whom Mina could only make his profile out sighed heavily.

"Now that everyone is here. We can begin" he was irritated by Mina's late arrival.
