The boy woke up startled, his nen not recognizining his surroundings. I seem to be in an enclosed space, a box perhaps, the boy thought.

He punched the material that blocked his way out, puncturing a large hole in that spot.

Allen jumped through the hole, landing on his feet like a cat would. How intriguing, he thought, Where do you think we are Nanika? He asked the entity inside of him. A dark aura seemed to separate from him and take the form of a boy with the same look as him, except the face. Its face was white with black pools of emptiness for its eyes and mouth.

Don't know, but not same dimension as before

Not the same dimension? This was certainly not what he expected when he was drawn in by that mirror, he surely thought he was being kidnapped, or his client double crossed him and sent someone to take him out.

Which would've been a completely possible answer, no matter how much a client employed the Zoldyck's services, the bounty that was on their family was in the billions.

Humans are very greedy

Allen silently nodded to that statement. Which is why you shouldn't trust them, she warned Nanika.

But you are human, I trust you

I'm more of a monster than human, that's what our....Allen paused, 'family' says, the word 'family' feels weird on his tongue, when was he ever considered a family member outside of birth?

The conversation he was having with Nanika seemed to have distracted him from his situation. As he was wandering around, he noticed something. He looked down in confusion, he wasn't wearing these clothes before. In fact, he doesn't think he's ever worn anything like this.

It was black with gold accents and purple parts, it draped over his body beautifully and felt as soft as silk.

Such high quality, maybe I should buy something like this for you Nanika. But Nanika shook their head, Allen already spoiled them too much.

As Allen was walking, his En picked up something. There seemed to be a cluster of people in an area, a large cluster of people. There seemed to be more than 300 people, and they felt around his age, a few years older maybe?

Let's head there Nanika, he told them as he ran there. Nanika simply followed him, matching his running speed.

Once he finally got there, he took a good look at the people, they were wearing the same robe as him and Nanika. And they were all crowded around a mirror.

So I didn't get kidnapped by someone, or get double crossed....but taken by a cult? He questioned, this situation was very peculiar.

People were slowly going up to the mirror and saying their names, and then the mirror yelled out a word. The word seemed to be an affiliation of sorts, it reminded him of a movie Killua was watching, Horsie Ponner....Horny Potter? Who knows, he'd long forgotten the name of it.

A guy with carrot colored hair walked up to the mirror.

"State thy name"

"Ace Trappola," the guy answered.

"Heartslabyul!"

The mirror's voice boomed, a group of people cheered as the boy named 'Ace' walked over to them.

It looks like a sorting ceremony, like Harry Potter!

I see, Allen thought. If that was true, then all he had to do was go up to the mirror and say his name, then he would also get sorted. But the problem was how he was going to get home, his father would certainly be angry at him.

It looked like he was the last person left, so he went up to the mirror, and that's when he realized.

This was the same mirror that had told him to take its hand earlier, it was the same one!

The face in the mirror seemed to have slightly smiled instead of its usual frowning face, but no one noticed.

"State thy name"

"Allen Zol–" he paused, should he really say his last name out loud? It would be best not to.

He cleared his throat, "Allen...Zilck" he said. The name was close enough to his real last name, but somehow, he felt happy he didn't have to say his last name was Zoldyck, it seemed more natural to say 'Zilck.'

"....."

The mirror sure was taking a lot of time with its decision.

"Ignihyde!"

Its voice was said, yet it seemed to whisper something to him.

"You do not belong there, but it is the safest place. Be careful little ones."

Allen looked confused, but nodded anyway, no one seemed to have heard the mirror say the last part. He looked over to a couple hands that were raised to signal it was where the Ignihyde people were.

But no cheering took place as it did with the previous guy.

This place is weird, I don't like it

Neither do I, he thought to Nanika. The place wasn't even close to being as suffocating as the Zoldyck manor, but it still had an eerie feel. Though he couldn't quite put a finger on what gave it that feeling.

Though he'd never been here before, Allen could clearly tell he wouldn't be able to get home that easily. It would be best to remain inconspicuous so he could gather information quickley, and then leave as soon as he did. There wasn't any need to stay here, he didn't have any missions here, and father would definitely not want me to stay somewhere other than the Zoldyck mansion unless it was for a mission.

But he wouldn't be defeated, he would go home......home, was he really able to call that place home?

But if that wasn't his home, then what was?
