Protect (Derek Hale) [ON HOLD]

Chapter 2

Derek and I later found out the new Beta was named Scott McCall. His friends name is Stiles, what the hell is a Stiles?!?! I know his real name is something completely different, only I can't remember what his real name is.

Anyway I met his father ten years ago when he first became sheriff. I also met Stiles when he was 6. That little boy grew, to be a handsome young man. I never met Scott until now.

Tonight is the full moon, so Der and I are going to find Scott and help him with his transition. I heard from a reliable source that Scott is going to be at a party... On a full moon.... How stupid and really terrible.( I compelled a student who was going to the party to tell me if Scott was going or not.)

I put on my leather jacket and exited the house with Derek behind me. He opens the door of his Camaro for me and I kiss his cheek and say thank you. Then I hop in the car with Derek in the drivers seat driving to the house where the party is at.

We were five mins away when Derek speaks.

" What do you think will happen?" He saids.

"He'll have a headache and probably leave the party." I say.

"What if I say something wrong? What if he turns in front of everyone? What if..."

I cut him off.

"Derek, relax. Just tell him the truth. Not all of it at once but most. You'll be fine. And don't worry, I'll be there for you, to help you through this."

Derek looks at me and grabs my hand giving it a squeeze for a thank you. I smile and squeeze back giving him a "your welcome"

He pulls up to the house and I take a deep breath, and exit the car. I hear loud music and see lots of people. I can hear their heartbeats, their blood passing through their veins, every breath they take. Derek looks at me and sees my discomfort and grabs my hand looks into my eyes. They tell me I'm strong enough to do this, and to not be afraid. That I won't hurt anyone. (She may be really old and experienced with blood but I wanted her to at least have some trouble with blood, she can control her Blood-lust but can sometimes still have trouble over it.

Derek then asks me where Scott is, to get my mind off the blood. I take another deep breath.

"Follow me."

We move to the back of the house and I see Scott with Allison Argent. I first met her ancestors a thousand years ago in France.

I look at Scott again with Derek beside me. I put my hands in my jacket pocket, and look behind me.

I see a dog, and I get an idea. I smirk and I make my eyes glow red mixed with a dark blue. The dog starts barking making Scott look at us. Derek and him have a stare down for a few seconds then Allison asks Scott a question, making him look back to Allison. Derek and I then jump to the roof and wait for the the full moon to take affect on Scott. I see Scott and Allison hold hands then start to dance. They look cute together, this will surly last long, I'm sure of it.

Derek then takes my hand and kisses my forehead. I smile and I kiss his cheek. I hear a heartbeat speeding up and I knew it was Scott. I look down and I see Scott holding his head and bumping into people, moving away from Allison, and into his car. He then drives off, leaving Allison. Smooth Scott, really smooth.

Allison follows Scott and is left out front. Now's our chance.

"Allison." Derek saids

She turns around and looks at us.

"We're a friend of Scott's. My names Derek." He moves a step closer to her.

"And I'm Katherine." I move a step closer to her. "Can we give you a ride home? It's no trouble, it's on our way." I tell her.

She looks back at a now empty road and saids "Sure."

We lead her to Dereks hot Camero. I like this car but I also love Impalas, a 1967 Chevy Impala. (If you understand this reference, great, awesome, if you don't. That's ok. It's an amazing car the main characters drive from the hit CW show Supernatural!!!

We get in the car with Allison in the back. She tells us her address while putting her coat on the seat next to her. This gives me an idea.

In less than 15 min we arrive at her house. Allison grabs her coat and exits the car. Before she enters her house, I call her name. She turns around and I move closer to her, looking her in her eyes.
(Compulsion BTW hehe)

"You took off your jacket in the car and you forgot to grab it when you left. Oh and Allison, if Scott asks you to forgive him, give him a second chance, ok?" I tell her.

"I forgot my jacket in Derek's car. And I'll forgive Scott and I'll give him a second chance." she saids and hands me her jacket.

"Thank you, you may go. Forget this happened."

She blinks a few times then turns to enter her house. I hop in the car with the jacket in my lap.

"Why do we need that?" Derek asks me

I turn to look at him, "We need this to lure Scott to us, so we can help him control the shift." I say smirking

"This is why I love you, you always think ahead, always have a plan." He said smirking back at me

I smile when he saids "What would I do without you?"

"Crash and Burn" I said with no hesitation.

We make it to the Beacon Hills Preserve and parked the car before we enter the woods. I put the jacket on a branch to lure Scott to us by her scent. I few minutes later I hear a roar.

Scott.

It was Scott in his 'werewolf mode.'

"And now, we wait." I say smirking.
