Deja had given Cassie and Karli a lift to school on Monday morning after spending practically the entire weekend together. After cemetery on Saturday night, the three stayed up talking about the events of the night, which unfortunately didn't come without some teasing by the girls about Cassie being walked home by Ant.
As they made their way past the school gates, they came across Malakai who greeted them with a large smile and a wave, "hey guys." They gave him a wide smile in return as they greeted him.
Karli quickly spoke, "someone really made an impression at cemetery, the guys loved seemed to love you."
He shrugged with fake nonchalance, as he replied smugly, "what can I say? I'm a lovable guy!"
"I guess my pep talk worked," Cassie smiled, "don't forget about us when your famous."
Malakai beamed and shook his head, "wouldn't dream of it."
Before anyone could speak any further Ant bounded to the group, dapping up Malakai and nodding 'hi' to Cassie, who smiled back ignoring the nudges she received from the girls. Spider soon followed playfully pushing Malakai's back, "oi, Malakai, dance machine." He did an exaggerated wink at the girls, "ladies."
