chapter seven: ❝ we're cool ❞ season one, episode four ༺♥༻
"Um... guys whatthe fuck is happening over there?" Cassie and Deja glanced in the direction that Karli was motioning to. The courtyard was filled with rainbow flags, students and a seemingly heart-shaped balloon.
As the three drew closer to the chaos they stopped by Nathan who was trying to conceal his laughter to much avail. Cassie confusedly tapped him on the shoulder quickly whispering, "what's going on here?"
Nathan glanced down to her, a laugh slipping out as he simply whispered back, "Malakai." He pointed in the direction of the heart-shaped balloon to reveal Malakai holding it, along with a bouquet of flowers. The balloon slowly spun around to reveal a message which read 'will you be my girlfriend Amer'.
Cassie's eyes widened, Karli let out a breathy laugh and Deja groaned, "seriously? Amerie? Will that boy ever learn?"
"The heart wants what it wants Dej," Karli remarked, "besides I think the main concern should be why the 'i' and 'e' were too much effort to add to the balloon."
Nathan laughed slightly at the girl's comment before nudging them to look in the direction of the courtyard's entrance. The three glanced over to see Amerie, Darren and Quinni all walking in, blissfully unaware of what was to come.
