Chapter 1

Aaron's POV:

Poor Kim, she's still so scared after that wolf attack. Well it wasn't really an attack but it still made her jumpy. She only really knows Garroth here so she's been sticking around him more.

All we have to do is clean it up, then I can go home to Aphmau. Then we can go to Starlight. Then, I can propose...

"Hey Aaron" Garroth Says.

"Hm? What's up?"

"Nothing it's just, how long do we have to stay here again?"

"Until we get it perfect, so if we can do that in 3 days we can go home in 3 days"

"Oh! Ok thanks Aaron"

"Mhm!"

I bet he was just asking for Kim's sake. But I also want to leave as fast as possible. I need this money, I need it so I can take both me and Aphmau to Starlight.

I should start cleaning.

I go upstairs and start cleaning all the rooms. Especially the fancy ones, when I get to a room and I read what it says.

"Lycan Suite"

Lycan? My last name? Does this mean..?

I just ignore it and walk into the room. It's nice. I'll make sure that looks even better. I start sweeping and dusting.

After a few hours I got ALL the rooms. I was sooo tired I cleaned all the rooms and it took all day. I went to go lay on the bed in the Lycan Suite.

When I plop down on the bed I look next to me. I wish Aphmau was here, I wish she was next to me.

I look at the clock, 8:30pm. It's not even that late and I already want to go to sleep.

"AARON" I hear Lucinda yell.

"What!?"

"Kim got the kitchen cleaned and it's working perfectly!"

"Good Job to her!"

"I know right! But that's not the point, do you want some food?!"

"Sure I'll take some!"

I walk down stairs and I see everyone sitting at the same table, so I join them.

"Soo Aaron.." Garroth Says, weirdly...

"Yes?"

"We all know why you want to take her to starlight, are you really gonna ask her?"

I feel my face get hot and red. I would obviously tell them yes but Garroth for me so flustered.

"Oh Garroth, you embarrassed him" Kim says.

"Kim it's ok I say" I say.

"So is it true?" Garroth Says back to me.

"Yes it is.."

The room goes silent. Lucinda looks over from the kitchen her mouth practically on the floor. Garroth has the look on his face that screams "Ha! I knew it" And Kim... she genuinely looks happy for me.
